it is nice to have the feeling of wanting to be in a band together forever, but the reality is always harsh :)

Since this is one of my favorite segments in the existing manga, I was naturally biased towards it. Its fun watching Mio cast off her timidity and actually get exuberant about something. Poor Mugi and her quest to be "normal" took a few stumbles. Azusa learns more about her seniors but also reinforces her cynical opinion on some aspects. Sensei head-banging.... and her all-night partying the night before the trip, yeah, she's totally given up on the 'mousey innocent teacher' schtick.

And once again, the girls brush against the "transience of things" when they hope the band will outlast their school years.

The episode had me wanting to attend a Japanese music festival just to observe the cultural differences (much like a Japanese baseball game versus an American one - watching the crowd is more interesting than the game).

Overall, this was a fun episode. Strange how Yui got carsick first time she rode the bus, but not the second time. I wonder why.

Mugi is becoming a bit too obsessed with being 'normal' now, it's becoming kinda creepy.

I liked how Mio was the most excited one this time around. Usually it's either Yui or Ritsu who goes berserk at times like these. And I guess the only way to score with her is if you're left-handed yourself.

And no amount of sunblock will prevent Azusa from getting sunburned. That's gotta suck.

Mio should've lived in the Lucky Star universe. There's no shortage of left-handed people there.

She would have still stood out due to her "bong".

Very good episode, honestly I think found this one a lot more enjoyable than either of their "training" camps from the previous season :heh:.

Ending was great, and most of the other amusing things been pointed out already.

I would not mind seeing these girls continue on after High School.

I think pretty much everyone would.

But, it's up to Kakifly to decide how far he's going to take this.

K-ON is always great when the usual setting and the series of events changes into anew. That said I really enjoyed this episode thoroughly despite it lacked actual music. As for our usual heroine, Yui is sometimes stupid but fun nonetheless. Mio getting hyped on the festival is somewhat rare to see. Poor Mugi, she didn't have a taste of insisting Yakisoba, and Azu-tan is back! Sawa headbanging was astonishing, quite disappointed on Ritsu 'cause she didn't have an aura of her energy and genki-ness. Also, my favorite part was the gang lying under the starry night sky, and Yui pondered to perform live on the Natsu Festival someday.

So the juniors will be having fun on a pool next episode. I'm sure it'd be cool so yeah.

Aye, it was more like Ritsu's "turn to be mature" ... she kept reacting to the antics of everyone else with a "wait, aren't *I* supposed to be the crazy one?"

Just kidding.. I enjoyed this episode, in an odd way reminded me of my first Coachella experience.

I had been to an open-air concert-cum-festival a few years back (and probably one of the few held here, and it was a DRUMS festival). It was a whole lot of fun.

Azunyan will be brown for 2 consecutive episodes. Cuteness! And with Mio and her in raincoats, they really look like sisters.

And for some reason, Mio got lost again. In her own world. If only they animated the scene where her was running from one stage to another with real-time physics, this episode would be fapworthy, and it would surely be the indication of what her shirt means. :D

Of course, we can see that Mugi enjoys the tent. She's probably intrigued by the lack of space and that they are all sleeping together. :heh:

Yeah... that shirt was hilarious and I'm sure quality animation of her running would have sent the episode into "R-15" zones.
