Fansubs question

Okay, suppose there are two fansubbing groups- Alpha and Omega.

They both sub an anime called "X" but in general group Alpha does a better job overall.

There's another animed called "Z" but Omega does a better job there overall.

Basically, what I'm asking is are there any specific groups/animes anyone could possibly list this pattern for?

Making such a list would be difficult as opinions may differ. However, www.anime-planet.com has an entire forum devoted to fansub comparisons. I suggest you read these to find out which fansubs are better than others

Hope this helps

Um... why do you need to know this?

Maybe he's trying to note trends in which certain groups tend to do generally better
on certain genres (or studio, manga->anime, authors, etc). One
might also note trends on how a certain group will do better on projects with a
certain translator/editor/timer/encoder/qc etc working on it as opposed to its other
projects that are staffed differently. Or maybe one can notice trends in how
particular groups work better in joint projects as opposed to going solo.
However, the measuring 'quality' is very subjective, so I don't see this really going
anywhere.

I'm closing this thread because it's purpose to say that certain groups are inferior to others. There's nothing terribly constructive to accomplish that way and I already know how upset it gets groups when people start to rag on them. We don't like to encourage group wars without purpose and they are mostly just flames.
