The Phantom Pain, announced at the 2012 Video Game Awards, might be a new Metal Gear Solid game (actually Metal Gear Solid V). NeoGAF users have picked apart the trailer for the supposed new IP, which is in development at the unheard of Swedish developer Moby Dick Studio.

Why are people so quick to put the Metal Gear Solid label on it without any confirmation? It could be a new IP for all we know.

Phantom Pain could be a substitute title just like Mark of the Wolves for Garou/Fatal Fury

Nice! Very nice. Iam betting MGSGZ is another game and this is something beyond that timeline seeing BigBoss here lost his arm and all. Probably he just got cloned and they took his DNA.

I for one am betting that "Ground Zeroes" isn't actually a real game, but rather some kind of blind for this.

Kojima said Ground Zeroes in it's current state cannot be release due to taboo's.(possible because of the soldier kids)
