It's been so long since I last watched GI Joe that I don't quite remember it anymore. I dont have the the vhs tapes with it anymore. The only thing I remember now is a cobra dude with missiles packs in his legs, arms and shoulders that liked to blow up stuff.

This movie is basically a prequel to the GI Joe story of the animated series.This is when the team is just starting out and Cobra makes it's first appearance to the world.Cobra Commander and Destro will be on the movie but I guess they leave those for another future trailer or as a surprise on the movie.

Regardless if the movies ends up sucking epically i will still see it. I grew up watching Gi Joe so i feel like it duty to go and see it lol.

Besides this is just a prequel if it makes good money and they 2 or more sequels imagine where they could go with it. Crazy large scale fights around the statue of liberty,Kick ass CG vehicles which G i Joe was know for already, and best of all any fighting between Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes that alone is worth the viewing.

Rachel Nichols looks great as Scarlet and Sienna Miller looks pretty good as Baroness too but i have to hear her accent first before i give it the thumbs up. Im a little disappointed though no freakin Road Block but my prediction about Ray Park being cast as either Storm Shadow or Snake Eyes came true i made that prediction 2 yeas ago when i first heard they thinking about making a movie.

This is my childhood (back in 1983), except this one's a complete overhaul. Can't wait no matter the outcome of the storyline. So much action going in there. xD

Watched GiJoe as a kid in early 90s didn't watch 2k version . The trailer looks awesome its kudos to the art director for taking a concept from 80s and bringing it up to speed . I think I see the Baroness :love: she really looks cool fits the role perfectly . This movie is 'the' movie I am looking forward to in 2009

actually I found out about this film on the Jonathan Ross show when Sienna Miller was on, must admit I'm a little iffy on her role as the Baroness.

but we'll just have to wait and see, at least they got most of the cool characters in expect they don't have Roadblock

During the Super Bowl I was watching this wondering, what the heck? When I saw those robotic like soldiers I was thinking that it reminded me of MGS4. Then right before the title is shown my friend goes G.I. Joe and I'm like no way and then BHAM! I was simply in shock and said, "Wow I actually have to see this movie".

I wonder who will be chosen to play GungHo . As these is the prequel to the GiJoe universe. GungHo should be there he was one of the originals ...... Vin Diesel @_@ :heh:

God damn Duke and Snake Eyes are going live action. Love on the design of the website. Can't wait for July.

They better make Cobra Commander look like a wimpy badass.

God another childhood Saturday morning memory bites the dust with a stupid live action movie. I mean come on accelerator suits?!?!

^Yeah, the accelerator suits are like a poor man's Iron Man (or a far less impressive Transformer). Now that I have seen more of the suits in the extended trailers, what little interest I might have had for the movie, has plummeted drastically.
