Looks like the staff of White Fox consist of a large part of the team that did Utawarerumono's Anime adaption, and I see some people who had worked on Gundam OO and DC2SS.

The animation did resemble Utawarerumono's abit (the shading mostly).
Also I found it funny that the sword sound effects sounded almost identical to UtaMono's in the trailer. Silverwolf. With the story. What do you say on possible length? 13 episodes or 26 episodes. For some reason I'll bet 26 (judging from all the characters they need to cover) also the gameplay videos I've seen make pretty long gap for Octavia to be introduced. |
i've yet to see the anime trailer...40hrs into hard mode (first pass) of the game and man...it's slow slogging through this :(
the characters were really well voiced in the PS3 version...granted, the cast was stellar, but around chapter 4 or so of 13, the female heroines start to get forgotten, for lack of a better explanation...either that or Arawn and Ogam are so well put together that they stand out a crap ton from the female characters (including Riannon) Quote:

26 episodes I'd wager. In addition to the main story, you will see alot of events from flashbacks and memories to about 1000 years before and Arawn's past and what happened back then. That alone could easily take up a few episodes. Anyway, things get lengthy (and interesting after the siege of Avalon and the true enemy makes its move.
Anyway all the characters get enough screen time so to speak. In fact, Octavia lacked quite abit in the PC original in terms of character development and role in the story, so for the PS3 version they extended her background story and added a rival (Lydia). Also if you played the game, the final chapter had been doubled in script length with a ALOT of new developments and character development to the story. :P |

Scene difference between PC-PS3-Anime for Octavia

Ah yeah. I noticed that they used the new character design but used the older Cg as a reference (which is kinda cool).

She looks more defiant in the anime version. Her expression says to me "I may be a little embarassed to be found like this, but mostly I'm angry. And if you don't free me, you're going to regret it when I do get free."
|
Arawn 'regretted' it all right. LOL.
|
The quality of the Anime is downright awesome, and its the same cast of voice
actors as this PS3 version. |
The cast is exellent but I care anime s quality more.

Not sure if anyone's noted this yet, however according to Moon Phase, Tears to Tiara is scheduled to premiere this upcoming Spring season.

Tears to Tiara TV Anime Series Length; Octavia's (Rie's) Ring
According to MOON PHASE Zakki, the 2009 Tears to Tiara television anime series is slated to be 26 episodes.
--- Animic style is a Japanese company which specializes in rings, pendants, necklaces, and other silver accessories associated with anime, manga, games, and whatnot: Shakugan no SHANA II; Druaga no Tou (Tower of Druaga) animation and online RPG; BLEACH; etc. Octavia seiyuu (voice actress) Tanaka Rie has designed a line of jewelry for animic style called seraphirie*, which consists so far of the Seraphirie Ring and the Seraphirie Pendant. http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/4860/00011as3.th.jpg Quote:
*Seraphirie apparently is a contraction of seraphim, seraphic or seraphical, and rie. |
I was hoping for this to be two cours like Utawarerumono and thankfully that's the case.

*Looks at staff credits in TtT's ANN entry*
Oriental Light and Magic uh oh......why am I reminded of the extreme decayed Disgaea anime? Hopefully this time around they'll be able to squeeze quite a lot of content into a mere ELEVEN episodes. Anyway......I'm currently in the last quarter of the PC version, and like others have said, it's starting to pick up nicely. And the PS3 visuals, from what I've seen, are AWESOME. If only a re-port was in the works.....although this would mean that you would need an EXTREMELY beefy rig to run it. |

There was actually a trailer (real one, not the one included in the game) at C75, didn't look bad though I still prefer the original designs.
