Ah i get what you're trying to say there.
After listening back to the conversation at that time,Minori did answer that she don't have a boyfriend,after explaining the whole lot things about things that she believed in to but none of it actually appeared in front of her,including her love life.In a way,it means that she don't have a boyfriend yet,but in an indirect way,it also implies that she don't have any interest in anyone yet.
Ryuuji understand the hidden meaning inside those words,and thus the way he replied back to Minori,was to change Minori's opinion,by saying that things that she believed won't come to her if she never do any effort to find it.Minori seems to understand his words,and thus she quickly diverting his attention by pointing her finger to the sky.All in all,i believed that Minori knew what Ryuuji was trying to say..
But Ryuuji didn't stop there...he continue to reply to Minori,saying that he hoped that one day Minori could see a ghost in real,and saying that maybe there's a ghost somewhere that wanted to see Minori too.From there,Minori seems to be able to guess of Ryuuji's real intention in saying all that,which was depicted by the grin on her face when she mentioned about the seaweed ghost,and Ryuuji's reaction towards it.

That's quite a big development i must say between Ryuuji and Minori,unlike Taiga and Ryuuji in the previous episode.I always had this thought before that Minori was probably the same typical playful/cheerful/happy go lucky/air headed that has a shallow kind of thinking,but actually she's not.There were several occasions so far in TD where Minori showed her sharpness in observing and judging things,including today's show.
I must admit too,just like Kaoru Choujo,that i also am deep impressed by Minori's characteristic today.She start off as somewhat annoying (at least to me) in the earlier episodes,but after watching today's episode,i finally understand Minori's true strength in this series.She's not like what other ppl would say as a "two face" like Ami,instead i believe that she is probably more complicated compared to Taiga and Ami.
Those who don't watch the scenes carefully might thinking that Ryuuji and Minori was talking like usual,but inside it there's actually a huge development,probably on the Minori side,after hearing Ryuuji's words about wanted her to "act" instead of "waiting".I could be wrong in this too,but at least that's the feeling i get after watching the scenes several times.
P/s :
I wish they could change the BGM during the conversation between Ryuuji and Minori..i felt like its just doesn't fit well with the situation.So far i heard of that BGM played with violin and guitar...i wonder if there's a piano or flute version,which i believe is much more suitable for such romantic situation. <-- just ignore my stupid rant there
