Fujimi is really on a roll these days...

OceanBlue 2013-05-20 10:26

The description of the show that Crunchyroll gives in this article is so awful.

Edit: Oh, they added "ex-mercenary". That makes it slightly less bad, but it's still not very good. :\

Hope the author gets well fast from his ill upon hearing the announcement

EDIT : Now that the announcement came out. I recalled that i'm still dying to wait for vol 7 to come out already.

So that's two works from Sakaki being animated (the other being Outbreak Company). I like his style, so this is good news. The premise sounds exciting too.

I'll plan to watch both of them too, although I have stronger hopes for Outbreak Company than Chaika, but who knows. However I heard somewhere that Sakaki wouldn't participate in Outbreak Company's anime scripts.

While I am also pretty sure that the major announcement should be pointing to an anime adaptation (especially in addition to Cyan (moonphase guy)'s tweet from before), this is not 100%. The "anime begins" part in the picture is referring to Kami-inai. It's still entirely possible that they'll just announce a drama CD and call it a day, which has happened before so I feel like CR is misleading/calling shots early unless they have an inside source.

It's coming July! Saw it in the Ravens' thread.

EDIT: OH YEAH, IN BEFORE ZEXCS (mandatory comment in every single Fujimi adaptation).

Best. News. Ever.

Hn? You mean Zexcs is doing this? Or Ravens?

Man, they loved making cute girls doing what Rambo does....

But... if it's romance.. count me in...

MrTerrorist 2013-05-21 10:20

I enjoy reading the manga and glad to hear it's getting an anime.

After blasting through all manga chapters, i still can't find what's so special about this series. It just looks like your average shonen so far.

The loli heroine largely redeems this series for me though:p

LostSome 2013-05-22 18:09

For me, it`s Akari and her crazy fantasies about her brother.

blackwhite67 2013-05-22 20:37

For me, it's the MC trying to find fulfill his purpose by trying to start what is likely to be a war.

Hitsugi no Chaika Fantasy Novels Have Anime in the Works

Tenzen12 2013-07-11 19:58

I don't realy care for neither loli nor lusting sister, but that GUN is just awesome. (and I have high hopes for that dragon girl)

Drkz 2013-07-11 20:21

It's quite a shame that there aren't a lot of fans of Namaniku ATK works around here... I guess you should fix this disinformation!
I'm actually more hyped about it because it will be the 1st anime with Namaniku ATK designs and not because it's author is someone famous or something.
