Of course~ :heh:

On topic, just thought I'd post another Toto song (I won't post it on the daily list); this one has brought back such wonderful memories - but I don't remember where I heard it the first time~

Well, it is time for some U2. I guess I'll keep it to 80s U2 since 90s rock is probably not quite classic rock yet.

U2 is pretty much my favorite band. It comes down to them and an English electronic music group (Underworld) as my most favored music artists.

I'll post more U2 in this thread. For now, I'll post a couple more videos from other artists.

One of my favorite Led Zepplin songs that doesn't really get much radio play.

One of my favorite Pink Floyd songs.

JRendell 2010-11-27 01:05

@papermario - Yes! Georgy Porgy! Classic Toto track.
@Urzu - I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan, mainly 'cause of me dad. Top shout!

I guess the following track is classic rock. It's one hell of a ballad though!

Urzu 7 2010-11-27 01:16

I'm not a huge Pink Floyd fan like you, but I like them and they are one of my favorite rock groups that are classic rock.

One thing I really like about them is that...how should I put it...you listen to Dark Side of the Moon and then you think how it released in 1973 and that album, damn, Pink Floyd was ahead of their time. DSotM sounds like something some years after 1973; ahead of its time. It is pretty cool when you hear music and albums that are ahead of their time.

The Cure was supposed to be a boy rock band, this is how they sounded in the late 70's basically.

JRendell 2010-11-27 14:23

Here's another;

Beverly Hills Cop was just awesome.

Urzu 7 2010-12-11 10:18

This thread needs some bumpage.

Veldenz 2010-12-13 11:29

Classic rock thread. Nothing by TVU/Lou Reed, nothing by The Beatles... ;___;
Time to fix that.

I am happy to see David Bowie (lovelove), U2 and Pink Floyd are already here though.

Spoiler:

Hiroi Sekai 2010-12-20 04:33

Anyways, it's official. I'm suffering from Totomania - a few LIVE TOTO for you, ChainLegacy~:heh::

xtrablu 2010-12-25 19:38

What a nice thread! :D I'm generally a little more into harder rock tracks than the softer ones, but I've got quite some space for them too :)

So here goes my sharing for today... an ABC-combo!

Alice Cooper

Bruce Springsteen

Chris Rea

EnchantingPrincess 2010-12-25 20:20
