Premise interests me and reminds me of a manga I'm following long title that has something to do with fated meetings in dungeons :heh:

I rarely post on LNs(I'm assuming this is LN), but I think I will look forward to this. Has there been a release/translation?

I've only seen raws of it, and yes it is a light novel. It seems like something I would like, hopefully we get to see more of it soon.

I liked Choco because she could actually hold a conversation with the protagonist, though the hug scene was nice. Mary has some nice conversations too.

Only read v1, I felt as if the author just undid the flag raised from the hug scene immediately afterwards in the following chapter. (Author even closed off the chapter with haru in denial mode, saying something like "it was just a hug, there is no way something can come out of it" (forgot exact lines))

Do the two get any closer in future volumes?

His reasons were that Yume didn't think of the hug in a romantic manner, and honestly, neither did Haru. And Yume's kind of...simple? if you want to put it politely, so I honestly don't think she thought anything of it at the time, although she was aware of what it at least looked like when their mage found them.

As for if they get closer, no, but technically yes. The entire party gets closer as a whole, but not in a romantic sense for the most part. In the 3 volumes out, there's maybe some light romantic undertones with Mary a couple times, and quite a bit with the girl on the volume 3 cover that would result in spoilers to explain. The romance elements in the series are very toned down in favor of focusing on survival. Yume and Magegirl don't have much in the way of romantic crap past the first volume, but Ranta and Mogzo get a little.

Also, apparently the author has a side series in the same setting, but it's probably sad the main draw for making me want to read it is because of the tag エロフ. I'll get around to it eventually.

Read it today, I quite enjoyed it! I wish the Tanker would be a bit more lucid, but the straight/funny man comedy is quite funny. Too bad there's not that many translated chapters.

Well, maybe one year after they will be able to slay a rabbit.

Well a weak MC that gets strong but not that strong as time passes is a interesting setting.
