Experimental Manga
Let's see if I can actually bring this series to a completion of some sort.
Check back every once in a while for new pages! ^_^ Oh yes, please read from right to left. (If there are actual words to read so far) :heh: Page 01 Page 02 Page 03 Page 04 http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/6555/mm052jx.jpg http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/5263/mm063zi.gif http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/857/mm070oh.gif http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5154/mm089xp.gif |
i think ur art is very nice....
BUT...sorry for the but.... the frames either their should be more...or they should be larger...less blackness! although i wana know what she saw! back ground needs work..more detail vary thickness of lines what is she looking over? not made clear 3rd page...i dont know what the images are or where she is..unless thats the point? good luck!!! |
the girl looks like shes got a lot of character from her expressions and she seems very sad maybe youll talks about that later. anywho i like how you draw but like sarrah said...maybe less blackness and make some of the lines thinner. also you should add some words if youre going to show so little drawings b/c its kinda confusing. and yeh i have no clue what shes looking over. maybe a scene of her field of vision beside it. might give the reader more of the idea! great work though id love to see more of this w/e it will be called!

WELL...i think
the chara's head is good enough...as a complete style i rate the head for 8,9/10 but the object don't as good as detail~maybe is the style...but anyway...is a pro to me...fightO |
Good Brush Strokes. I would assume you used a lot of ink to cover your entire screen?:D
Keep it up! It's great! |
...
I'm also fairly inexperienced in drawing backgrounds. Is there a good tutorial on drawing backgrounds of trees/buildings somewhere? Or just point out what can be improved on them to me. ^_^;;; Gah, look at Page 05. The trees...they look so horrible. Barely passable as background. >_<

If you are drawing "real" picture, - Draw the branches first (try Google Image Search on "Tree Shape" or "Tree Branch" for samples); - The leaves can be drawn via "dry-brushing" using a fan-shape brush. Start with dark green, wait for it to dry. Repeat the process three or four times, using a lighter green each time. Quote:
