Chiptune

Can anyone give me any suggestions for chiptunes music? I really love jazz so of course ymck is one of my top bands ever, but I don`t know much outside of that. Can anyone give some suggestions, or even better could we creat a discussion about chiptune music in general (including old school 8-bit music). Well I hope I can learn somethings from you guys!

I really don't know much of the genre, but YMCK are pretty great, definitely worth a listen.

What exactly do you mean by this? Are you going to look throught your collection to give me some suggestion on what games had great soundtracks? Well I am a huge vgm fan (favorite soundtrack being secret of evermore or super metroid) I have .spc rips of my favorite super nintendo games, but its much harder to find the sound rips from nes games (in all their chiptunny delight), I can find them in midi format, but I have only been able to find straights rips of mario, zelda 1 and 2, tetris, and mega man 1-6, and those were on an all german site... If you can tell me how to rip the sound from emulations, that would be awesome, if you could push me in the direction of some downloads that would be awesomer! If you do tell me how to rip the files, please tell me the emulator that would go best with your help.
