Um... isn't this episode not coming out until next week thanks to the Olympics?

Znozzy 2012-07-29 02:27

Livestream is up! the show is on after all!

Girard Spriggan's funnels have a drilling melee function. And Flit is going out in the AGE-1FA!

n0m@n 2012-07-29 03:12

We are lucky that Japan doesnt stop anime broadcasts for Olympics like most countries...... For me anime>Olympics.

Girard Spriggan:

She was a test-pilot for a Myucell-inspired? X-rounder pilot suit along with a male testpilot named Girard.

The pilotsuit went berserk during a testrun and locked up, restricting their movement and taking control.

Reina/Leina? managed to somewhat stop her mobile suit by crashlanding into a asteroid, her boyfriend did not have the same luck and crashed into one and died.

At the hospital she found out he died, sobbing included.

She tried to give her commander the test-data regarding the faulty X-ronder pilot suit but he snapped the Datadrive in half giving the usual this filth cannot hurt the federation, or something like that.

Her name was wiped off the table, that's when she took her dead exboyfriends firstname, Girard.

Oh, she seems to be a X-rounder/Cyber X-rounder.

Also, Flit raging like the old badass he is. EXTERMINATE THE VAGANS

j0x 2012-07-29 03:25

looks like Girard Spriggan just taken her name from her boyfriend? and looks like she is an x-rounder? or cyber x-rounder (cyber newtype)?

waiting for youtube to see subtitles

casval cehack 2012-07-29 03:31

That explains the masculine name (and haircut).:heh:

RES-01 Perses Gundam 2012-07-29 04:30

Lol. Psycoframe overload. :eyespin:

The Feddies are at it again.. A bloated bureaucracy, R&D with extragovernmental powers.. Resulting in cover-ups and angsty X-Rounders (no different from Cyber-Newtypes really).

HOW MANY MORE ENEMIES ARE YOU GONNA MAKE, FED??

And Kio failing miserably at trying to talk Girard/Reina around.. Face it Kio, even if you end this war single-handedly, try building up a government on the scale of the Fed plus the Vagans that would be centralised, ethical and responsive. It's simply not possible.

j0x 2012-07-29 04:31

lol at Flit shouting "EXTERMINATE THE VAGANS!!!" i love his insanity :heh:

Meltyred 2012-07-29 04:33

Hmm, Grandpa Flit has more insane faces each week.
His eyeballs are about to burst...

casval cehack 2012-07-29 04:41

The olympic episode is all about revenge for Girard Fornell.:heh: Could have been perfect, but Zeheart's battle already bores me.

Reina is sure hot. A great X-rounder pilot too, capable of hitting Kio with the T-bits compared to Fram who can't even do it with all the wand waving. What's Fram going to do now that Flit and the "genocide machine"/Age-1FA is bearing down on her.

Is that an X-rounder runaway in the end (Reina seems to be still wearing the X-rounder sys helmet)? Lots of X-rounders in the field next episode...that's out of Abis' league.

My only problem with this episode was that it didn't come earlier in the series. We really needed to see more of the
Spoiler for Spoilers for Girrad Spriggins past:

All up a solid episode with some nice action and character development, and it's nice to see Kio's "Understanding" spiel fall short yet again.

Exemplary EFF Captain Dian Fonroid appeared as early as episode 2.:heh:

Yeah, Kio seems to be in a recruiting drive or something. Maybe she'll reach Fram before Flit descends on the Fawnfarsia.

ReddyRedWolf 2012-07-29 08:08

Well that clears up what a Vegan is to Flit. It is those that has sided and taken Vegan beliefs. Not unlike the Nazis who recruit not just Germans in their ranks.

Well talk about disproportionate revenge from Girard Spriggan. Sure there are corrupt officers that were your superiors but that doesn't mean you take it out on everybody.

I find her start of darkness weak. Bad witting again.

Oh is that technician the same guy who is the moon base's commander? (Note there is such a thing as Cold Sleep)

If that is so isn't Girard being played? (Which reminds me of how Londo got manipulated by Morden in B5.)

bio9205 2012-07-29 08:11

What the hell was all that X-Rounder madness at the end? Was that from Girard? I laughed a bit when I realized Asemu was the only one unaffected. :heh: Supah Piratto ftw!

Zantetsuken 2012-07-29 10:29

Asemu>Flit>Kio

Kio's too damn pacifist and preachy, Flit's all genocidal, while Capt Ash wants to make his old friend see the truth. Clear which is the best lead now

I agree. See the top comment on youtube. :heh:

I just realize that Kio is a cross between Kira and Lacus. One fights without killing + the other try to convince. :heh:

Not only that, his physical features: brown hair, blue eyes, make him look like their lovechild.

While Romy, who has brown hair, and looks like Kio, has gray eyes... So he's Kira's child from Fllay

EpyonHell 2012-07-29 11:20

was it just me, or did the animation take a step back during parts of this episode? Just look at Flit when he's still on the DIVA's bridge
