Sypnosis: (Baka-Tsuki)

Regis, an incapable soldier, who is bad at both sword and archery that only reads books. He meets a girl at the remote region where he was transferred to. Red hair crimson eyes princess Altina who wields the supreme ruler's sword. She was appointed to become the commander of the army of the remote region despite being fourteen years old, simply for being the illegitimate child of the Emperor. However, she is holding onto her big dream without being depressed in the environment she is in. "I trust you".

Regis who was sought from her as a tactician stands up to the obstacles together with her. The military fantasy interweaved by the bibliophagic boy and the princess with the supreme ruler's sword.

Looks quite interesting!
If the Manga adaptation will be announced, I'll take a look, but I've already got too many Novels on my list so that just won't do. :uhoh:

Volume 4 out on October, together with 夜姫と亡国の六姫士's volume 2！Time to order all four volumes of this in one fell swoop.

Cant wait for v4.

interesting. Seems like the MC is a strategist here with no combat skills. I can wait to see how his character will progress!

The MC is cool enough, as weak as he is, he still prefer to die painfully rather than bending his principal. ANd the princess is quite funny, what with her nickname arrowed sparrow princess (its rhymed too XD).

You will like the characters as well.
Volume 1 and Volume 2 basically makes one story

A fantasy type novel that has the same girl on 2 or more covers? What madness is this.

Also i read the first chapter and i really like it, the beginning with him talking about how bad life is since the books are not up to quality reminds me of Dog&Scissors

fetishes aside, N0m@n, how is your impression about this, most of my following is going to end soon so i have a little more budget for a few new books and i don't want to waste it.
Edit : the 1st chap is quite good but i want to know how dark is this novel.
