Hope it will be sequel of 2nd season of Index where they gonna face off Alastair Crowley, the main antagonist of the series.

Geez I thought if they were going to do a movie it would be on the Russia arc, after doing Index 3 to volume 19 and some side stories

It does have to be original though because unless they do skip to WW3, or the English Civil War I can't think of anything that hasn't happened yet that merits a movie.

It could be for the fans only to know. Like how they do Air Gear or Negima.

Wait wait wait... then it is entirely possible for Index III to come out in fall of 2012 covering up to vol. 19 and then for a movie to cover WWIII/Russia in 2013. ;)

If it doesn't come out until 2013 than that leaves open the Russia theory, because they could do a 2012 anime, then the movie will be released soon after it.

I like the idea of the movie but the time I hope for the movie is after Index III and not Index II so they can use the the arc after Index III for material as a movie because it will be an awesome material to be seen in big screen...... I'm utterly disappointed ;_; and I don't care much anymore on what will J.C. staff do to milk the franchise

Light novel movie usually do that like certain arc, like the event of volume 13! I think they did that with one piece too !!

But maybe it a new story arc between 10 or 14, because we still see touma in his summer uniform shirt

When they say movie, is it going to be the 1h 30min long kind of movie or the 30min kind that's only called a movie because it's shown in theaters? Or maybe they'll go the Suzumiya route...
