Kud was my favourite heroine in the original so I am definitely looking forward to this! It is slated for a Summer 2010 (northern hemisphere) release. :D

More info @ kerojump

February 2010 Dengeki G's Magazine will have more information:

Is this an action game or what? And what console is it for?

boggart 2009-12-25 00:47

As far as I can tell from that photo, it'll be a PC based game. I'm expecting it to be a visual novel as per the norm.

Leo_Otaku 2009-12-26 01:13

What seriously? >.> I would rather have Kyousuke have a spin off of his own. I don't really care for Kud.

boggart 2009-12-26 01:24

I love Kud! I'm hyped up about this! I'm considering importing the Dengeki G's mag just to get the hug pillow case! :p

Kudryavka 2009-12-26 01:24

Kud is my favorite also. Lovely she's getting her own game, esp. cuz I heard her route ingame was a bit lacking. Maybe like Tomoyo After to Tomoyo's lacking route in Clannad.

I wonder if this will be a full-on new game, or just a little something to play over some tea and snacks?

Seems like an interesting concept if I'm reading that translation correctly.

Spoiler for Summary (I think):

I'm wondering how they can expand on Kud's story in a way the original game didn't. Should prove interesting. Reminds me a lot of Tomoyo After.

Your summary sounds like what I've been reading around.

I hope someone with a greater proficiency with Japanese will be able to translate the following article which is the information gleaned from the G's magazine.

Scans from this issue of the Dengeki G's Magazine. Most of the information are already mentioned above.

It is a full game instead of a fan disk. The story is 18+ and will be focused on Kud's love story which takes place after the events in the original game.

Thanks, nani.
I just noticed that the Wafter looks like After. :p

Any word on who is supposed to be writing for this game?

Shirokiri Chika (城桐央) will be writing the scenario, having previously written Kud's route for Little Busters! and LB!EX.

Having said that, Kud's original route was considered by many (not me!!) to be one of the weaker routes in the story. But having read through a few other blog posts regarding Shirokiri's involvement, it seems she was there right from the start in 2005, and has had the last 4 years to develop and flesh out Kud's story. It was also mentioned in the blog that ever since the Autumn of 2007, there had been talk of a Kud After Story, but Shirokiri had always put that out as a joke, until after LB!EX's release when she was informed it was going ahead.

And here's the audio track as well:

I don't know why but I'm suprised even though I shouldn't be considering Kud seems to be a very popular character. She was not my favorite character personally (I like the rest of the cast better) but this should be interesting regardless... I hope to hear more in the future.

Nana-chan 2009-12-29 23:42

This is not surprising she seems to be a favorite. I can't go into pixiv little buster tag without seeing 8 images of her on every page. Should be interesting.

lol. I am looking forward to this.

But on the other hand, would you look forward to a "Saya after" game? :heh:

Meh, can't hear the audio well b/c of all those people. Oh well, I'll wait for the Internet release. :)

On a side note, does anyone know Kudryavka's favorite things, like food or hobbies?
