Last month but we didn't have infos except it's directed by Rie Matsumoto (who directed Heartcatch Precure movie) and animated by Toei Animation.

I really like the visuals & chara-design. Plus animation looks great indeed.
I'm also enjoying the music.

When I read Toei x Banpresto, I thought about something else, you know, thing like explosion, and bouncing...

Color me surprised, in all honestly :heh:. Not in the bad way, though.

I have no idea what the heck this is about, but I'm really hyped to see it. It looks so darn cool. I wonder if it's a movie or a TV series.

The character designer & animation director is Yuuki Hayashi, a young but talented animator from Toei who worked as animation co-director for Heartcatch Precure movie. We also have Mononoke art directors (Takashi Kurahashi and Yumi Hosaka) for art design. Promising staff.

They didn't specify either is a TV series, OVA or movie. So, we need to get more information of the format, but later.

This is so awesome. I can't wait.
However we don't know the format yet. It doesn't look TV series and animators list may be too short for a movie so probably OVA ?. These are credits just for the PV since Sadakata Kikuko's involved and said she's listed (from manuloz).

Ahem. It looks like it shares a lot of the same animation staff as Heartcatch Precure, except this time on a bigger budget. I've never paid much attention to Toei, but anime like this are showing that they are very much capable of dazzling visuals. I'm already loving the explosion of colors, the art style, and the high level of creativity put into the setting.

With this outstanding animation quality, there's pretty much no way this is a TV series, indeed. I'll go with movie.

This PV was more engrossing than most of the anime I've watched those past couple years. It looks so good I can't even being to describe it. And that MUSIC!

This might just be a trailer that doesn't reflect the final product. But I can make a few guesses at what happens using the original tale.
