So for how many more episodes will we have the first OP? I heard the new OP will be introduced in EP13, is that true?

just finishing watching the raw version, cliffhanger again! Already read the manga so i know they are going to end it there but still!! Need to wait another week i guess..

Had a feeling repeated transformations wasn't good for Eren, considering how little we/they know about Titan Shifting. Especially with Eren showing signs of fatigue.

Well I can sympathise with Mikasa a bit here. I definitely didn't see that coming either...

I must say Dot Pixis really knows how to motivate his people.

Interesting legend he tells. To unite humanity there needed a common threat. Eren never heard of such a thing.

Considering how much the royal government bans knowledge of the outside it makes one wonder if the people are being lied to.

While I do enjoy the grand speeches by Dot Pixis, I just can't help but feel a little disappointed by the slow pacing. I want some more of the story to actually move forward.

Despite the fact Commander Pixis pretty much fabricated the origins of Eren's Titan shifting on the spot, I have wonder how much of that is true. That serum Dr.Jeager had certainly didn't come from nowhere...

Also I'm not too surprised at what happened at the end either, though that was quite a shock. :twitch::uhoh:

The "padding" is certainly more and more noticeable at this point, and I can't blame people criticizing the show slow pacing as of now, considering how arguably obvious the staff is trying to fill each episode with the strict minimum.

That doesn't mean they are delivering the show in a bad way, but I see little to no ambitious stunt in the adaptation, save few stylish parts such like Eren's punches in Episode 7 and 8. As such, the cliffhanger was rather safe... perhaps a bit too much considering the current events right now.
On the other hand, they did a fair job with Pixis' speech and how it left an impact on the troops, without sugarcoating it at all ("Please die here" is rather straightforward, without implying they might survive).

One particular scene was sort of bad though... When Mikasa argued Eren once again, she looked completely different (almost like what...loli face or something? Eyes were terribly off, as well with the face proportions).
That said, I found Mikasa dodging Eren's headbutt quite hilarious :heh:

They are keeping pacing about even with the manga chapters for the most part, and are having trouble keeping up with the animation, so it isn't surprising they have slowed down the pace.

Not to mention the next couple of episodes are sure to be action packed considering the current situation, the last few were slow paced entirely because it was tine wind-down from the last big battle and the lead in to this one.

She should dodge it to front not back :mad:!!!

Yeah he's still not used to controlling that form.

Pixis statement is similar to the Halo Series.

There's only so much a military can stomach defeat after defeat that in extreme cases even a small victory can mean a lot.

Dammit Eren get your sh@t together. Thats pretty much all there is to say about the end of this episode and probably the next one too.

The problem it seems with the Titan form is that Eren is not awake. Eren does not have a firm recollection last episode but it seems it is his subconscious is at work.

Given the pacing of the episodes $50 says that the next one involves Eren fighting to regain control of the Titan:heh:

They should have started the decoy operation and then the elite team takes Eren to the basement first before messing with the boulder.
