Hi guy, after some thime thinking if someone like me should, I decided to make my own thread. I will post photoshop work and in a near future probably some fan-made translations. Used Avatar in on order: Spoiler for saving space:

Your main problem seems to be backgrounds and text; for text, try creating a new text layer, then go to Layer>Layer Style>Stroke. Backgrounds need more effects, they honestly just sometimes look like colored textures. Try downloading brushes from DA, and soft glows will help. |

@Kelisidina Most of your comment are appropriate... exept the one about the first sig. I wanted it to look like a drawing or a sketch made on paper, not something comming from a computer or a TV. Adding more stuff would had killed the effect. |
