Plot summary : The story centers around Itsuki Noya, a boy who wishes to join his school's astronomy club (tenmon-bu). However, he actually entered the similarly named Tenmon-bu — a club for fujoshi (female otaku) interests.

Not a bad premise.

So are the girls fujoshi in the sense of yaoi fangirls, or just generic otaku? If the former, I'm imagining a show where every girl is like Rika and Oshiroi.

I'd be lying to myself if I said that I didn't think this sounded outrageously bad from that summary alone.

Same author as Seitokai no Ichizon? Where do I sign?

A fujoshi club? Sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind joining a club like that, but guess the MC is probabily not as open minded. OR is he?
Sorry for the question, but what genre is it? Is it Harem? Comedy? Ecchi? SoL? Reference gag like Lucky Star or Seitokai no Ichizon? Or something different? Baka-Updates only says it's a School Life and Shounen so I'm not sure what to expect.

Not ecchi and there's another guy in the club besides the lead guy.

So, Itsuki is either a crossdressing shota or the anime staff turned him into a girl. While I was expecting a normal guy, I'd gladly take a crossdressing shota over an all female cast.

Given the premise, I'm betting the girls want their very own Hideyoshi.

Can't say I'm terribly impressed with the designs. Kyouko looks like they took Itsuki's head, changed the hair color and added bushy pigtails, and Hakata bears the same relation to Hasumi, except with ribbons instead of tails.
