Well, a PV (at 06:09) got included wit Hellsing Ultimate X, and it's explicitly titled "Drifters PV" aswell, so full anime/OVA incoming?

Whoa! Didn't expect this one.

I guess we have to wait for at least a few years for a Drifters anime to be out.

Looks to me that it's dead for now since the mangaka is progressing a bit slower. For now, it's only manga stuff that's coming out via Young King.

I'm a bit surprise by Yuichi Nakamura as Toyohisa. Oh well, least Graham's fulfilled his dream to live in feudal Japan. XD

I wondered when it was going to be animated. The manga is pretty good so far.

The promotional video gave no ETA.

It was referring to this, a short that was part of Hellsing Ultimate years ago.


Not the actual one with new info from the recent Comiket so this one is the short OVA/special.

Nice OVA and faithfull to the source material including the cool char designs! Like the manga, the only thing i really don't like about this is the terrible placed comedy...lol. Everything else is spectacular tho. The action, the gore, the crazy badass chars, the Hellsing vibe and of course the fantastic series main theme where known figures from the past are sent to a fantasy world by two unknown entities. Of course, Oda Nobunaga had to be there! But i believe a lot of people, that does not know this title, will be surprised by some names that will appear in the future :heh:
Really looking forward to the upcoming anime!
