Oh! It's Pixiv's Matsuryu! He draws good art pretty quickly (because, according to him, he is a hikikomori?). He used to only put dates, but recently, he has started putting titles to his artworks.

Miyu was really badass in this episode. She did well to survive this long against a monster like Berserker. Now waiting for fanarts of Miyu as Saber~ (and fanarts of Saber wearing Miyu's skimpy outfit)

I forgot which rank Gae Bolg is but there shouldn't be a problem with Excalibur since its rank is above B, should there? She managed to kill him once with it and then he build up an immunity to it. That's how God Hand works.

He posts his art on twitter as well. He notified before it aired that he's doing the EC for this episode, and it certainly didnt disappoint

So there. Normally it shouldn't have been able to damage him, but then again these are degraded versions of the original servants.

Gae Bolg actually CAN be enhanced to penetrate God Hanf by using runes boosting its rank to A (and Miyu could use it since shes Lancer at that time). Even in Carnival Phantasm is hinted when you see Gae Bolg struck into Berserker chest, when Berserker "made" friends with the "doggie"

And the Servants are not a "degraded" version, they are full fledged servants brought forth by a different summoning process, but they are as powerful as their Fate counterpart

In any case a full powered Excaliblast can hurt Berserker a LOT. On one Bad End Illya mocks that at most would have taken a few lives, but shes saying on a obvious underestimating tone. Its really unlikely that Berserker can die from a single Excaliblast, but if hes struck by more at the same time, he simply does not have the resistance to that kind of atack yet

I don't recall if the anime said it, but the manga definitely stated that the abberations are only a portion of a heroic spirit's power. Granted, 90% is still a portion, so they could be near full power, but they stated they aren't 100% at least.

Hard to tell how that relates to Saber though, since she was weakened so badly having Shirou as a master anyway.

Hmm, they've removed critical hints once again (from Iri's speech). Either they don't intend to do 2wei, or they're really pessimistic about a S2 and wish to make the series stand on its own. Either way... not a good sign.

Best to not worry about future maybes and enjoy the now that we have. There's plenty of time to drop a sequel hook in the final episode.

I can worry and still enjoy what we have left. The very little we have left... only one more episode.

And the OVA.

Perhaps the OVA will be the sequel hook. It's going to be hard enough to stretch the last chapter to fit the last episode.

It is a bit disconcerting though. At least now clear why they had Miyu talking to Illya like that. Just because they needed another way for this conversation with Iri to develop without using the sequel hints.

Oh well the episode itself was still pretty good. Miyu got to go Saber badass on Berserker though couldn't finish him off. Still going to take some effort to get the necessary kills to get past that immortality. Hard to kill him the same way twice. Already used Lancer and Saber so have to make do with their normal states plus Rider, Assassin, Caster, and Archer. Although not sure how install works compared to include which definitely can't be used twice.

Miyu did finish him off. Three times at that. Just for this guy and only this guy it isn't enough. They did basically gave a short run down on how Install works, it allows you to tap into the power of the class itself to take the form, powers, and abilities of the hero it's emulating. However it shows that the process is intensely mana draining and once you run out the form cancels.

Wow, they sure sluttied up Saber's outfit for Miyu. Exposing her upper thigh, belly, mid-drift, and upper chest. I could've sworn it was a normal Saber outfit in the manga.

Still, was nice seeing Berserker's immunity development get displayed. It never really showed up in FSN.

Actually this was how Miyu wore Saber's outfit in the manga as well. So just following the source material there. Does kinda defeat the purpose of armor though.... Lucky Miyu has Saber's supernatural toughness too, pretty sure she took a direct hit by Berserker's fist but recovered quickly.
