Romantic, drama..maybe harem anime

Wow it's been a long time since I posted.

I just finished Shuffle! and was hoping I could get some suggestions on similar series. I like the series that have some drama and romance with moments where you feel sad, happy, get teary eyed :heh: ... etc.

Examples I've seen:
Shuffle!
Kimi ga Nozumu Eien
Kanon

That's all that comes to mind at this point.

Thank you.

You might want to try:

Canvas 2 ~ Niji-iro no Sketch ~ -- This series is still running
Da Capo -- This series is complete
Futakoi -- This series is complete

All three series are listed on AnimeSuki

I would also reccomend Da Capo. I would also suggest Aishiteru ze Baby, great heart-warming romance. Suzuka is another one you could try, a little more realistic than Shuffle! but good nonetheless. I have just started Mohoraba ~Heartful Days~, slightly kiddish, but entertaining. But I would say your best bet if you are looking for something like Shuffle! would be Da Capo, Its also based off a H-Game.

Saikano is another good one
has as much drama as KGNE

The king of this genre would be AIR TV, although it's worth noting that it's a mite more serious than most of the other titles.

I forgot about Aishiteru ze Baby, thats another I've seen. I also watched Peach Girl and Full Moon wo Sagashite which may be my favorite. I'll look into Da Capo and the others mentioned. Thanks for the suggestions :)

I like that gif in your signature, Gustave. Nicely done.

Another nod for AIR TV here, since naturally it's by the same creators that did Kanon.

Da Capo is very similar of Shuffle. Although many preferred the first season more (including me). The 2nd season (called D.C.S.S.) should be watched after seeing the first. I don't think the 2nd season is fully subbed yet although it had finished airing.

You may also try Honey and Clover, a comedy with some drama sprinkled throughout, it's really nice.

Someone else mentioned it but Mahoraba is also a good choice. It's more a lighthearted comedy than the others but there's some good minor drama near the end.

See this post that I made on another thread. It was a good manga. More realistic (as anime goes). No magic girls, no parallel universes or what not.
