(Manga) Sasuke's reaction to the new naruto
 

there has been quite a lot of hype about naruto's new jutsu recently. Assuming that they do face each other again (which they probably will), what will sasuke think of the new naruto?

Based on their last encounter, sasuke was trying to perform a jutsu that will "end" the fight between sai, naruto, sakura, and yamato. i think this unnamed jutsu's of his will even the playing field. So my bet is that he'll be impressed, but not overly so.

Probably option 3 at first, then option 4 then option 1.

Sasuke already acknowledged Naruto as an equal in their last fight. I think if there's one thing that will really piss him off this time, it will be the fact that Naruto was able to match his power by following the "weak" path of sticking with his friends, without making any of the sacrifices that Sasuke did.

Their last encounter, Naruto got owned. Sauske no longer thinks of Naruto as his equal. Besides, he is more perverted than Naruto since he's been with Oro for 3 years.

Haha, aint that the truth. His character is predictable like that.

He wouldnt even bother his intial obcession with Naruto was due to lack of progress in comparision with Naruto and other reasons . Now he is found Oro and grown stronger why would he bother .

He would be happy or indiffrent why ? coz getting to Itachi via akatsuki would be faster

Well, one could think the effects it would have on Sasuke would influence Sasuke's reaction.

I think, that he well have no reaction.
Because when they met sasuke first time in a long time, sasuke didn't react anyhow, or show any emotions, just like Sai.

If Sasuke can realize the difficulty and power of this new jutsu (especially if its complete) he'll probably act just like the Rooftop on Konoha Hospital:
"Shit! Naruto just how far does your power extend?!" (after watching the damage of Rasengan compared to his own Chidori)

So probably option 4.

Sasuke's "That" jutsu that he was going to use to end the fight will rival the fuuton rasengan. He'll be suprised for a second, smile and use "That" jutsu.


Here is a scene that I predict.

Naruto: "SASUKEEEEEE!!!!!" <Gets kage bunshins to help make fuuton rasengan>


Sasuke: <Shocked face with a little bit of thinking (maybe)> <smiles> and uses "that jutsu"
the two run into each other, and its a stalemate

-I chose Option 4 since it certainly wouldn't be the first time Naruto has made Sasuke wonder where Naruto was getting all of his strenght from. Of course Option 3 is also quite plausible but I chose Option 4 since the next time they do clash it will be something with no-holds-barred, all out destruction.

Actually, Option 2 has already come to pass somewhat



But if we don't count that, I vote for Option 3. Sasuke's smug, but he's not the type to laugh at an opponent.



Pfft. That was just him trying to be cool. Wait until he starts losing to Naruto or when he fights Itachi again. Then we'll see how emotionless he is.

The more and more I think on this topic more I am begining to think they are ex-flames . Is the thread creator hinting at this :D

Someone mentioned sasuke wasn't showing any emotion when he met naruto. I think this is because naruto wasn't giving sasuke a good enough fight to provoke a of reaction from him.

Really? Do you remember the scene on the rooftop of the hospital.

He was laughing cuz there was such a small hole in that watertower. While his was obviously bigger. So he felt good immediatly....but then....

We all know his reaction after he saw the back of it though :p...making him feel like an inferior person again.

In reference to Sasuke's "that" jutsu...I think the reactions are going to be switched. I think it's Naruto who will be "*shocked* Impossible.....?!" But then will come back ("Impressive, but don't think you're the only one with new jutsu") with something stronger (perfected Fuuton Rasengan).

Sasuke'll be "!!!??!?!?!11?!?1?/!!"
then Naruto'll be "L33T!!!11!1!!!ONE!!!" with his new tech
then Sasuke'll be "pshh, mine's bigger than yours, damn right, it's bigger than yours" (JUTSU-wise)
Then Kyuubi comes out, and puts both of them back in their place.

"But wait! didn't Sasuke pwnzorzzz kyuubi already?" Yeah, that's before it came out and chomped his sorry ass...then used his sharingan eyes as massaging hand balls.

but realistically, if we're to believe kishimoto, this time naruto's tech really will be unsurpassed. whether or not he utilizes it to its full potential who knows, but sasuke should be impressed by a lot.

No reaction...

And then Orochimaru will bee "OMGWTF!!!!!!11"

Anyway, I certainly hope Sasuke just doesn't trump it...it'd be stupid, plus it'd make their relationship even more Dragonball Z-ish. I hate it when they do stuff like that:
"I'm going to up my power by doing this!"
"Well, I'll up my power too, and it'll be more powerful than your power!"
"Oh yeah? Well, I'm uping my power AGAIN!"
"Yeah? Well I'll change forms into something that's just stronger than you!"
"Ha! I'm going to use this super-dooper own all move!"
"Well I'll negate it with my even superer-even dooperer move!"
