From the front page, the character designs seem to resemble the manga designs and first season.
For now, I'll hope this does better than the second season...

I think it's a great decision to try and portray the franchise with different art again. Hopefully they can keep the pacing and timed comedy of the first series and mix that with fan service of the second series.

I hope this season decides to use the original characters that were just taken out of the second season. That really bugged me.

I really hope this is done by the guys who worked on the first season, which was great. The second season was absolutely pointless.

The second season did kind of blow, but it was still kind of funny. I hope this season will be more like the first.

More Hosaka. Still the best thing about this series.

Bring back Touma's brothers, I want more pissed off Fujioka.

NO ORIGINAL CHARACTERS. Fuyuki was atrocious.

I think we will never have the same feelings the first season gave ever again :(

I can't read Chinese, but I don't think this specifies anywhere which Sunday it'll start airing. This quote from TGBus is saying something along the lines of this news being announced in the third quarter publication of Juvenile(?) Magazine and that it's by アスリード　(Aslead) who also did Okawari o_O

According to a reliable Chinese site, they'll be using the 1st season character design, which is a good thing..

I don't find it strange. The main three are fun, though the most enjoyable moments for me is when they focus on everyone else.

Probably good news, as i enjoyed the first season.
... i stopped watching after the second episode of the second season which was, like the art-style, horrible.

Well that's wrong i guess. The art-style itself isn't really bad, it just didn't fit and the sudden change was unnecessary.

First post says it's being done by Asread so no it's not being done by the guys who did the first season but the guys who did the second season. Looks like they got a new director though. There's a chance it could worse since this new director has no experience directing, it's he's first shot.
