That pic is from the Summer '10 anime preview. In the bottom you can see that DEEN licensed Chiru.

I'm confused. Should I be happy for the second season or should I be angry because it's Deen again?

But honestly I expected the 2nd season to be released next year.

So DEEN's gonna make Chiru? Neutral expressions here I guess.I expect this to be released about 2-3 years. I guess they're really excited huh? But I guess VN's currently up to EP 6 so they ain't gonna cut a lot of things [I hope] But I'm really excited about the new characters' seiyuus if they'll fit or not

I sort of doubt the validity of that picture as a source.

I don't think it'll air this year if it's true. Next year at the soonest.

The VN episodes follow a set release sechedule. One in August and another in December. So we'll most likely have EP8 by December 2010. Meaning a reasonable air date for the Chiru anime is summer 2011.

We'll see if Deen can redeem themselves with this season, just like how Kai was superior to Higu's first season in a lot of people's eyes.

Damn i wanted mad house.....Let's get a new director this time. And yeah I was thinking 2011 unless we re making OVA's? Or if it will be 12 now and 12 later?

The picture alone isn't a good enough source. It's impossible to release Chiru as it is right now, so I'm highly doubting the authenticity of this information. Where did you find this information?

Personally, I find it highly unlikely that there would be a second anime by Studio DEEN, considering the sales fallout the first is going through.

They need to change the director and give Chiru more budget.

What? That makes about as much sense as the anime. :uhoh:

It was believable until I saw Code Geass there too.

And it was already decided K-ON! comes out in Spring.

I just noticed something about it and decided to double-check and turns out my guess was right on the button.

Look behind Chiru's logo, it's a moon over an oceanscape which is exactly when the logo appears in Chiru's VN opening. It is obviously a screencapture with Deens logo (which you could find anywhere on the net) added below it.

I have no doubt this is fake now. I concour this topic get deleted.

I agree with the general consensus that this appears to be unconfirmed and probably fake. There has been no mention of this on any of the more reputable sites that would not usually miss these sorts of announcements. So will lock the topic and delete it at some point assuming there's no actual confirmation.
