Just saw Episode 1 thanks to Comico.
Okay, let's begin with the bad things to get rid of them fast. The animation was below average, QUALITY all over the place and just a few shots well done and that it. Now the good things about the first episdoe. The voices are perfect, fits every single character and the way how the're adapting the manga is pretty detailed, just some cuts here and there. Is a good thing that the studio put all the info dump at the start so people who don't know the main source can understand what is going on. Overall a really good start, let's see what happens the next episodes. |
Episode 1:
Eh it was alright, I liked most of the comedy and the fact that it captured the facial expressions of the comic pretty well. The premise has promise and they introduced all the main characters. Oh and Kaiziaki is pretty much like a teenager guy with an adult mind. I noticed CR is uploading the rest of the episodes today. Might binge watch this today and over the weekend. First episode was nice though imo. |
Nice pilot.
I find it funny that Kaiziaki still has (bad) adult habits after the change. I'm pretty sure other series touched a bit in this kind of theme, but usual they become godlike/perfect creatures. Unless anything drastically changes, the situation he is going through, back to school with adult life experience, seems believable. Quote:

Just finished the first arc. Damn, I forgot how nice Tomatsu is on tsunderes (as long as she isn't up against the childhood friend that is :heh:). Contrasted with Kayano's kuudere, and it really brought the characters to life. I mean sure, I don't think the animation is the best, but I'm just counting my lucky stars that it isn't like Berserk. XD

I'll never understand Japan's obsession with high school life.
It's a promising first episode, I still don't know how the series will go. Will he affect the life of everyone shown in the OP by showering them with his 28 year old sage advice? Will he make everyone part of his harem through his adult/mature guy charm? Will it be just a slice of life for a guy pretending to be a high schooler? As for not being able to remember stuff from high school, I'm quite sure I'll fail high school if somebody tells me to attend one tomorrow. I'd probably not forget my pencil case, and maybe pass my science and english subjects but maths would definitely be a failure :heh: As for the other stuff, I'm wondering if there's another one in class who's also a relifer (if that's a word) and who is/was subject 001?? |
