So this show is about girls and cats? Isn't that kind of like eating your chocolate and peanut butter without combining them?
|
I saw this one mentioned a lot (since it's from the same comics brand that Hyakko came from) during commercials last fall, so I'm interested out of curiosity. As long as what they say about curiosity and cats doesn't prove true.

Homepage
The official homepage of the anime (without content atm) is: http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/nyankoi/
The anime will start broadcast in 2009 on TBS. Two short articles: http://journal.mycom.co.jp/news/2009...037/index.html http://news.dengeki.com/elem/000/000/169/169309/ |
Sounds like fun, from the manga summary. Though TBS means the 4:3/16:9 thing again, right?

There are lineart sketches of two cats (Nyamusasu and Tama) in different online magazines: 1 2 3.
ETA: Two sketches of the main character (Junpei Kousaka) were posted in the same places: 1 2 3. ETA: The staff (see post from NeoSam below) and two sketches of Mizuno Kaede were posted in the same magazines: 1 2 3. ETA: The (probably) last update contains two sketches of Kanako Sumiyoshi. The anime will start airing in September 2009. 1 2 3. |
The staff for the Nyan Koi! TV anime series:
Director: Kawaguchi Keiichirou Series Composition: Inotsume Shinichi Character Design: Morita Kazuaki General Animation Director: Sakou Yukie Cat Animation Director: Yamane Masahiro Art Director: Kosakabe Naoko Audio Director: Iida Satoki Backgrounds/Scenery: GREEN Animation Production: AIC Source: MoonPhase Diary |
If only by chance, I stumbled upon the staff list and decided to read. The director's previous works include Moetan, the first season of Hayate, and Zettai Karen Children.
I'm sold. |
|
The official website has been revamped to its final form. Which is good, because I'm interested in this one, 4:3 aspect ratio be damned.
|
Ahh, I'm torn between whether I should watch this or not. The staff has done some great work ( if the humor is anything like Hayate's first season, this is worth watching), but the manga hasn't progressed very far has it :upset: .. As much as I'm really tempted to see this, I'd rather save myself watching it get butchered by fillers. Also, anyone have any comments on the manga?

A time slot and date have been confirmed. This show will be on the first of October, inheriting the time slot now held by Taisho Yakyuu Musume.

A promotional video can now be watched on the official site, featuring what sounds like the theme songs. I believe the same video was shown at the latest Comiket?
