Kingdom Hearts 3D
Another Kingdom Hearts game that isn't KH3
What do you think? from what i've read it's focused on Sora and Riku's mark of Mastery exam |
If you saw the secret ending of Re: coded then it's pretty much legit that KH:3D is about the Mark of Mastery exam. Though what intrigues me is why Sora and Riku have their KH1 appearances in it even though it takes place after KH2.
I'm expecting a combat system using deck commands like Birth By Sleep again, and I really hope reaction commands are brought back again too, but not as overpowered as they were in KH2. |
I have seen the secret ending, but telling from the trailer they look even more powerful, wall jumping, spinning on poles, it's going to be over the top
But yeah, the fact that they're in their KH1 outfit is weird I guess there are different ways to attain the mark of mastery |
Oh wow, I didn't realize that was a whole new trailer.
So the actual title is "Dream Drop Distance" eh? Those all those agile maneuvers are pretty intense. Square Enix never fails to impress with their fight choreography. And I spy with my little eye a Hunchback of Notre Dame world.~ |
Considering the name is Dream Drop Distance is probable that they are, and stop me if this sounds crazy, dreaming. Either that or the conection to BBS will be done here.
|
Why isn't this "Kingdom Hearts 3" and why isn't it on the PS3. Ugh.
|
3D =/= 3? Dang, I thought it was a cool way to say 3.
Come on, Squeenix, I finally got a PS3, don't wait too long and put 3 on the PS4, lol. At least it takes place after KH2 and actually furthers the story with the main characters, I think. :? |
From what I read, it's about Sora and Riku after KH2... but they look the same as they did in KH1.
I really am disappointed. |
It's unbelievable to see so many people butt-hurt that KH3 hasn't been announced yet. Is it really that big of a deal guys?
Get a goddamn grip. It's gonna come soon. These other games are being made to unravel plot threads that have been left hanging. And in case you didn't know, the KH team is busy with Final Fantasy Versus XIII in the meantime, so they have a legit excuse for the long wait for KH3. |
Spoiler for Poster:
Also apparently Neku from The World Ends With You appears and asks Sora ti be his partner on the Reaper's game. "Twister" Yoko Shimomura style. My ears aren't ready. |

^Lol if you look at the poster Laith posted you'd see both Sora and Riku have new looks for the game. Guess Riku cut his hair after KH2.
Wonder what those creatures with them are though... Spring 2012 eh? Guess North America can expect it around Christmas time in 2012. :heh: Anxious to see some gameplay from the demo.~ |

it isn't so surprising since the same team made The World Ends With You.
but I do wonder if another SE game besides TWEWY and FF will make an appearance on this game. if SE will consider that, they'll have a lot of options for new worlds. Disney + SE worlds are so vast that they'll have plenty of options and variations. anyway, Sora and Riku looks like a kid again they never should've changed their hairstyle. they looked more mature before, now they look kiddy again |
Most likely Neku will have nothing more than a cameo appearance like Zack did in BBS. The non-Disney characters don't seem to get their own worlds.
Also, the story may be divided into two parts. The trailer had them in their KH1 looks while the magazine scan with Neku clearly shows Sora's new look. Quote:
Besides, it's not like their KH2 hairstyles were even their choice. Sora woke up from a year long nap and didn't get to rest at home until the very end. The same goes for Riku. They had no breaks. |
Tokyo Game Show trailer has turned up online:
Most interesting part is probably the last scene with Xehanort. So he killed his subjects himself which turned them into Nobodies? |

So that means Xehanort stabbed himself... again?
