kio's outfit really reminds me of linebarrels of iron

Captain Natora stole this episode for me. For a moment, I thought I was watching Murrue and Mwu.:D The ragtag problem crew is certainly a nod to ZZ.

Too bad that the Blustia Cannon was just an attachment and single-use only. I guess the mini photon ring power was too much for the atmosphere.

Even a Clanche tag team and the combine piloting of the natural X-rounder Kio and terrible grandpa/soon-to-be architect of the Vegan genocide Flit is no match to a gloating Zeheart. His "dialogue" to the Fa Zeos definitely punished (and vaporized) those evil EFF women and children. He seems to be unaware of Asem's status though.

Yeah, he's a lot more gruff compared to the pretty boy he used to be 23 years ago. Grodek, Flit, and Algreus were all a lot softer looking in their 20s... apparently in Gundam you have to reach at least your 30s to level up into a true badass.

ReddyRedWolf 2012-05-06 04:23

Kill a civilian city not attack a military base nearby. The Vegans particularly Ezelcant is on Kio's shit list.

Watch as Kio blitzes through Earth to Mars just to get to him.

How about fully bearded Obright?

I noticed that the Albis team is more capably lead and has serious enough team members compared the earlier Woolf team. Mullen's advise to Kio did remind of the...Shrike team.

j0x 2012-05-06 04:32

lol Obright looks like Woolf

nice episode overall, i like how the drawing and animation on the mecha scenes are well made

Kio with his ex-rounder intelligence made a double purpose attack, if Zeheart will dodge the SigMaxxis beam attack then the control center of the vagan battle ship will be destroyed, nice wit there by Kio

Great episode. For some odd reason I like how incapable the Diva crew is this time around, compared with the top-notch crew the past 2 generations. Gives something refreshing.

Ghirarga has grown on me as well, looked wicked fighting the AGE-3 and Chanche Custom. Can't wait for its HG!

I really don't understand that scene at all. Wasn't him planning on shooting down the mothership anyway with that big cannon? Why did Kio still need that X Rounder flash to do so?

Is it just me or Zeheart sucks badly as a commander. I don't think he has achieved anything as a commander yet

Just got home now, checked the 2chan link.

What was that attachment to the Sigmasis rifle?

I think he was trying to shoot down both the mothership and the Ghirarga with one shot.

He changed his firing position to hit two vegans with one shot instead of just shooting the Fa Zeos and allow the Albis team to cover him against the Ghiraga.

Zeheart did achieve a huge increase in his EFF casualties tally, especially after commanding Fa Zeos to shell the city below (which the episode focused on two or three times). Ezelcant indoctrinated him well.

Seconding. Natora (I refuse to call her by her last name :heh: ) is so in over her head that her nervousness is actually quite refreshing to watch for some reason. It helps that IMHO she's the cutest out of all the female ship captains I've seen in Gundam thus far. Hoping she gets her stuff together though.

If the Sigmasis Rifle is a miniaturized Photon Blaster, then the Blustaire attachment is a miniaturized Photon Ring Ray (well, according to Madorna anyway). Unfortunately it's so powerful it blows up after a single use :heh:

That is madness!:twitch:

Yeah, his X-Rounder ability enlightened him that Ghirarga would try to protect the Vagan mothership should he fire at it without the Clanches guarding him. Basically, one hit, two kill - that was what his X-Rounder ability told him.

Some observations:

1. Seems like they are really paying homage to ZZ. Like the Nahel Argama crew, this new and untrained Diva crew would grow from strength to strength, through numerous battles, and of course, FUNS AND LAUGHS. :D

2. Flit has serious ageing problems. He doesn't seem to be able to accept the fact that he's no longer a Federation commander, and thus no right to issue orders at all. His last retort - I'M FLIT ASUNO. :heh:

Edit: Gave 10 for this episode because compared to the previous 29, it's the best!

Edit 2: Actually. I think he just found the spot that would hit both the mothership and Ghirarga. -.-

She reminds me of a much more klutz version of Yurika Misamaru. Funny that they're fighting against Martians too.
