SAO - Infinity Moment (PSP), Hollow Fragment (PSV), Lost Song (PSV)

Eh, since we don't have a seperate thread for the PSP game, I'll just make my post here instead. (Mod Edit: Now we have a thread.)

Kinda hard to tell but it might be a action RPG with the same (or similer) game mechanics as tales of or its a turn based RPG.

Fallen3dge 2012-06-28 19:22

Heres hoping its an A-RPG

It's a little hard to tell, but it looks like the game will be of the fighting genre (1v1).
Is that so . Should be interesting.:)

grylsyjaeger 2012-06-28 20:29

Hmm, Asuna I hear you say? I am interested.

jonald101 2012-06-28 20:41

hoping it to be a RPG with the same setting of aincrad....100 floors...boss battles and chapter 16.5

Leon_Lelouch 2012-06-28 21:51

here I am still hoping for PS3 port....:(
looks like the outfit of Kirito is different from the novel, means an original story...
Spoiler for :

still no detail written in here
and isn't the genre has been decided that it will be an RPG?

sky black swordman 2012-06-28 23:29

RPG you mean something like legend of zelda or something?
It would better like that I mean SAO is RPG too right?

Mura 2012-06-28 23:37

Yeah, I was thinking to something like a Star Ocean RPG battle system or at the very least a Final Fantasy battle system.

Oh yeah nice idea.

Axiszero 2012-06-29 00:23

Hope its a MMORPG kind of thing, would be nice

grylsyjaeger 2012-06-29 01:47

I hope it follows the events of the story but you can change certain things like romancing one girl or another.

Spoiler for Novel Spoiler:

But I too am hoping for a normal RPG based system but given the nature of being swords only there might be a bit of a button bash to get combos up and such.

Kattaro 2012-06-29 04:14

MrTerrorist 2012-06-29 04:22

So it's an RPG.

SaintessHeart 2012-06-29 04:31

Why does the game format look so much like the Tales series one?

sky black swordman 2012-06-29 06:49

@Kattaro You never seize to amaze me on how fast you finds these videos.
Thank you.

So it is a RPG and not a fight style game.

So guys what you first impression on this game?

Rayrah 2012-06-29 07:27

Oh, so it's an RPG? Awesome! I don't have a PSP any longer.. but I might get one just for this game. x:

Following in the footsteps of .hack, Namco Bandai is developing a new faux-MMORPG. Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment is tied to the light novel and upcoming anime series of the same name. Banpresto is making the PSP game, which has an original story and a MMORPG-like interface according to the teaser trailer.

Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment’s genre is a live in the moment with you RPG. Who will you spend the moment with? We’re not sure yet since Namco Bandai hasn’t said anything about the game’s characters yet.
An original story, huh. Sounds interesting.

I think I remember hearing something about that, actually.. But I suppose it could've very well been a rumor..?

Suzuku 2012-06-29 11:53

No it was apart of the official announcement along with Accel World.
