Is there anything like Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou?

I absolutely loved that manga, but just about every other "slice of life" series that I've tried really hasn't done it for me.

I'm sure that there are some hidden gems out there... So, what series have the YKK fans gone to?

If you have liked YKK, give Aria a try.

If you haven't discovered it already, Kabu no Isaki by the same mangaka is pretty nice too.

I'm familiar with both titles. I actually started watching Aria shortly before posting this.

I do wish that Dou would go faster, though. It's kind of hard to wait for their releases.

I discovered YKK late, but I'm utterly astonished by how great it is. Sadly, I just don't think there's anything else that captures the Platonic ideal of slice-of-life the way it does. You might try Sketch Book - it comes close occasionally.
