Shin Megami Tensei: Puella Magi
 

this is the Madoka and Shin Megami Tensei fangame i'm been working on for a long time and finally done with the demo. the reason why it called Shin Megami Tensei: Puella Magi is because it a Madoka fan rpg with Shin Megami Tensei gameplay elements.

download the demo below, for now it only have Gertrud barrier but i will release another demo with Charlotte barrier soon

please report me any bug if you found one, and please tell me if the game is too hard or too easy so i can rebalance it

also, the Protagonist of this game will not be Madoka, but an silent Protagonist like every other Shin Megami Tensei Protagonist, her sprite in the game now is just placeholder, so if anyone can draw an design a new magical girl for me, please do.

Game review up until now
 
up untill now I love it! but i have a few suggestions.

-it would be nice if I could see the HP from the enemy, and maybe a lvl aswell?
-also when controlling i continuesly have to switch from mouse to keyboard is a little bit annoying but not a very big deal
- Also with mantra it would be nice to see what the skill does your upgrading because now im randomly taking skills.
- I have multiple attacks tht say: does slight physical damage its kind of unclear to me how much dmg each does and wich is better.
-Also sometimes i have 4 soul gems and i get 3 turns. and then i have 4 soul gems and get 4 turns.
-Maybe at the safe point when you leave that area a confirm button that says are you sure you dont need more items? the dungeon is going to be pretty long or smthing cuz now i continued assuming tht the barrier almost ended and im pretty short on items.


-hama or mudo doesnt say it doesnt kill bosses so you might want to adjust it?

and a little bug is that when you use mad rush and the enemie dies after 2 rushes u still see the third one not hitting anything
and also with the soul gems thing again sometimes it says 4 soul gems i use 1 move and 2 soul gems dissapear it doesnt make sens.
u might want to add to the instructions that u have to press the witch icon thing b4 to start the witch because it took me a little while to find out


and when u asked for a design of a magical girl did you mean fully drawn with details or just the outfit design? because maybe i could try design some randomly to give you inspiration.

Besides this i ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! the barrier were drawn amazing and i loved that the monster changed colors in the second part of the barrier. I also liked how you putted up a mini boss at the safe point! the move names are also cool especially walpurgis feast i love it! keep at it im sure it will be amazing when you finish it! ( I made an acc just to reply for your demo xP
