Who likes the Chobits opening?

I think it's cute.

biscuitless 2003-11-19 23:12

it was okay. it went with the show

Jasio 2003-11-20 02:34

Fits very well with the show, the song was nice too, blended well and the style was a nice change from other anime intro's.

silviachan 2003-11-21 15:03

The song is quite good, but the animators could put more effort in it...

Gaara11 2003-11-22 13:46

Nope, didn't like it...sounds gay.

biscuitless 2003-11-25 00:13

Aekei 2003-11-25 00:15

I didn't like it very much at first, but it really grew on me, so I think it's ok now.

I didn't know music could have a sexual orientation...

Same here. Totally fits the anime's atmosphere. :D

i like the opening, its good, its a shame the first ending is totally out of place - ningyo hime rocks though

I think he meant gay as in "happy" as it is quite a happy song indeed. :)

Anyhow, I thought the song was good, if overly bubbly and cute (even for Rd. Table ft. Nino). I liked it more when I was watching the show, then nowadays if it makes an appearance on my playlist. I really like Rd. Table ft. Nino (do Round Table and Nino exist apart from each other, or are they always featuring her? :heh: ) though. They did 2 great songs for a single for Mujin Wakusei Survive that I really like (Message and Sunny Side Hill), and their 2 Hack Dusk songs (New World and Beautiful) are really cool and catchy too (I think I'm gonna stick just one more sentence in parentheses this post :heh: ).

Blasphemy! Raison D'etre is excellent! It was nice and perky for the first half of the show when things tended to be more on the not-so-dramatic side. I thought both it and Ningyo Hime fit their halves of the show rather well.

i think the song is 'sticky', y'know that kind of song that after hearing it, doesn't come outta your head after several hours n' u keep humming it all the day long:heh:

biscuitless 2003-11-28 14:05

in the english version of chobits (ive just watched the subbed), do they sing it in japanese or english, cause i liked it just the way it was.

7thMethuselah 2003-11-28 15:01

Opening theme was great too bad they didn't put any effort at all into the graphics.

Not everything has to be flashy graphics. The opening animation did what it was supposed to do. It's not like Chobits is an action-packed anime. Being able to paint a portrait with a katana is much more elegant than slashing it around.

yeah at first i didnt like it i was like wth is this
but then i started liking it more as i watched the series

:starts singing: do do dodo do yeah do do do yeah let me be with u

I think it's cute also. I used to love it until I got tired of it from playing it too much. Now I like the two endings more.

I was obsessed with the song when i first started watching chobits but as time went on i liked it less but i still like it :D

§sanrio§ 2003-11-30 15:07

I rather like it.....even though I like it a bit less since I've heard it soo many times ^^; But it's still kinda cute, and goes really well with the show^_^
