Synopsis:

Quote:

Harumi Kazuhito is a high school boy, who loves books and is a fan of novelist Natsuno Kirihime. One day, he finds Kirihime writing at a cafe but she was about to be shot by a robber. He protects her from the attack but he is killed instead. By a supernatural power of a book-worm, he is reincarnated as a dachshund dog. When Kazuhito (as a dog) has been writhing in painful bookless life, a sadistic woman carrying a pair of scissors offers him a help. She is Kirihime herself.

Synopsis:

There's nothing in the world more enjoyable than reading for Harumi Kazuhito. He spends his days with his head buried in books. But one night when he was enjoying a good story in a café, a violent robber comes in and threatens the people inside. Kazuhito is not the hero type but something came over him and he tried to subdue the robber only to get killed. When he came to, he was reborn as a dog under the care of one of the customers who was in the café that night, Natsuno Kirihime. Through some kind of connection, Kirihime can hear Kazuhito’s thoughts as a dog. Unfortunately for Kazuhito, Kirihime has a bit of a sadistic personality and a thing for scissors.

The story reminds me a bit of Mysterious Girlfriend X except without drooling. I could see why Silver Link will animate it under the direction of Shin Oonuma. I liked his work on C3 so I could check it out.

Oh snap :uhoh:

Poor guy can't catch a break it seems, but I am really curious as to where they'd go with this.

I tried to save the hot bar patron from a robber bit ended up becoming her dog instead!

The part where he becomes a dog is a bit off putting for me but other than that it looks interesting and im deffinately going to try it :P

Mura 2013-01-18 11:33

I do wonder how he became a dog. I'm guessing Kirihime turned him into one.:heh:

True, that synopsis adds some important details. I'll edit my first post and add that in.

I really, really, really, really hope this isn't an ecchi series.

Based on what I see on MangaUpdates, I know it isn't going to be one. Just because the story looks like it comes from a ecchi show doesn't necessarily make it one, so I hope it will be one of them.

It must be popular since it has already figure

From what I've seen of the manga so far, it is very, very non-ecchi.

I actually wish it would show more skinship. :heh:
