Simple/Quick Help Needed - Signature Display
Update: The issue was solved, look at the 5th post on this thread.
As this Forum is for asking about anything regarding the Forums, I'd like to ask about an issue I have with my signature.
I have edited my Signature a little by adding a Link under the picture that leads to my MyAnimeList page.
Now, if I visit my profile and check my Statistics, the Link MyAnimeList is there, however, it is not in any of my posts over the Forums.
It is also visible when I Preview the post, but not once I actually post it.
I would like to ask why is that so and how can that be fixed.
And also, am I the only one not seeing it or is it the same for other members as well?
Thank-you very much.
"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 600 by 160 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller)."
Found further down on the Edit Signature page. This counts for text+image. Also notice the dashed lines in the preview window. Anything that goes outside that isn't visible. At least, this is how I figured it works.
So if you decrease your sig's height, the text will show.
This Signature's dimensions are exactly 600 x 160, so... hehe.
I actually saw and did think about this, but I rushed right through it because I saw some people with higher Signatures than this one including the text, plus, the text says: "The maximum size of your custom image is 600 by 160 pixels"
It only says for the image, not the text as well.
But that did not convince me much, looking at that some other members had higher Signatures than mine would be with text did. (I'll try to find one)
Yea, the Edit Signature window isn't really clear on that part. Further info can be found in the FAQ.
As for other people, a moderator will have to chime in there.
Not necessary, but still, thanks for the Link.
I have Scaled the Image by using GIMP and it seems that you were correct.
Again, thank-you very much.
I would like to request this thread to be deleted, if that's not possible then hidden and if even that's not possible then locked.
Have a good day.
