jay3k 2004-04-19 21:41

I dont know why im the only one who can get into the site and it just say "page cannot be displayed" and it was working a few days ago

Kenno 2004-04-20 00:11

Yes I have the same problem too. I can't connect to gotwoot.net at all. Could it be possible that my ip is banned from gotwoot.net server? :(

jay3k 2004-04-20 00:48

Why would it be banned if it is possible ? and did it happen to u recently or for a long time? coz it happened to me 2 days ago and b4 that it was just fine

Kenno 2004-04-20 01:35

Yes, it happened to me since a couple days ago. If I remember correctly, it happened since the release of Naruto 78. I asked a friend of mine who's using the same ISP as me, and suprisingly he couldn't connect to gotwoot.net either.

jay3k 2004-04-20 02:35

wat isp do u use and where abouts r u from?

Morsubyte 2004-04-25 10:11

gotwoot

I can't go on the gotwoot site either !!! It happened from Naruto eps 78.. Very strange. And i'd like to download GANTZ but gotwoot is the only site that offers that series... PLEASE help me....

JustAnotherFan 2004-04-25 14:13

Did you consider asking the owners of gotwoot (email/IRC channel)? Only they can tell you whether they blocked your ISP. If they did there was most likely some reason for it, like an attack or too many people from your ISP automatically reloading the pages too often.

Another reason might be your ISP blocking certain sites. Though I can't really imagine some ISP bothering to block gotwoot without a wide scale block of a lot of sites; something you most likely would have noticed meanwhile.

@justanotherfan

can you tell me the email/irc channel of gotwoot?

but actually the download started again yesterday, after a disconnect-->reconnect to my ISP! :)

Sevendust 2004-05-11 10:45

Having the same problem here. Can you tell me how you solve this?

appie1985 2004-05-11 11:56

Hello,

I also got the same problem. First i solved it by reconnect the connection and then i get a new IP. But now i got a static IP which i can't change anymore, for a few weeks i could visit gotwoot without any problem, but now it's unreachable again.

Could someone send me the IP of the site, so i can visit it through ip. Or could someone give me the e-mailadress of gotwoot.

My ISP is cable wanadoo.

Thanks!

farah_ustun 2004-05-11 13:43

Yeah... same problem here... most probably too many people trying to connect at once and take the server down...

Just have to be REAL patient (it always come back after a while)

Aikanaro-San 2004-05-21 04:59

Well... I'm in the same situation...
Can't access gotwoot. It's the first time so i don't believe it's because i#ve been banned.
Maybe it's really the server which was taken down because of too many users tried to access at once...
I'll be patient and wait for one or two days more and try again...

narutomania... yeah, really great site. how did you make the flash movie at the top site with the clouds moving in background?
i registered yesterday... but the naruto 84 ep from anbu isn't a direct download, it's only a redirection to their site...

Drian 2004-05-21 07:10

I can't go to gotwoot also.
And it is like this for at least one month.
I have a dynamic ip so i don't this is a ban.
I tried on different times. But no matter what time it is i still couldn't get there :/

Miracle04 2004-05-21 15:30

PeaceOnEarth 2004-06-01 11:41

There many others!

There are a lot of people who actually can't connect to gotwoot.net.
The gotwoot forums have a different IP so it should be reachable for you.

Try this thread for more details and post your problems an ideas there.
If there are enough people the admins might feel the need to do something!
