One Piece - Chapter 812 [manga]

First spoiler pic of the new year is out, so here we go! Also, a small summary was provided by AP's Sandman:


-Chapter title is "Capone Gang Bege". Splash page features Genzo and Nojiko from Cocoyashi village (Nami's home village).

-Continuing from last time, Pekoms of Big Mom's crew has landed on Zou, along with Capone of the supernovas. However, the two pirates are shocked to discover the destruction laid upon the land. An enraged Pekoms thinks that the Straw-Hats may be the responsible party for this....

-We eventually find out that Big Mom originally hired Caesar to do some research for her, but the scientist cheated her by lying about getting the work done, and just took her money instead. It seems that the misunderstanding Pekoms had about the Straw-Hats gets cleared up, and in gratitude, offers to tell Big Mom that they escaped in exchange for Caesar.

-Unfortunately, it seems that Capone is not satisfied with that deal, and he shoots Pekoms! Furthermore, it's revealed that he's a Shiro Shiro no Mi user with a bounty of 300 million! ("Shiro" in this case means "castle", BTW) After injuring the lion man, Capone takes Nami and Chopper hostage inside his castle body, forcing Sanji to surrender as well.

-As it turns out, Big Mama gave her men another mission: To invite the Straw-Hats to a wedding party! The groom is Sanji, third son of the Vinsmoke family, and the bride is Pudding, the 35th daughter of the Charlotte house...!!!!

Summary updated! Welp, now we're finally starting to find out what's up with Sanji! ;)

Oh man, I can't believe I was right about the part of Sanji being wanted for a wedding :eyespin::eyespin::eyespin: And looks like we will finally get to know about Sanji's past and family history :D Good to see him back in the story

That is one biggest twist ever and to think again in the times everyone make prediction Sanji is World Noble.
Let see what is this Vinsmoke family
i doubt the engagement will be smooth,big mom daughter maybe ugly or unexpected beauty
anyway as Sanji x Nami shipper i am against this engagement.
hopefully this also wil lead more development to Sanji x Nami :D, i wonder if Nami will jealous or just cool to this

well he can use his kicks to change his fiance looks, the problem is how gigantic she is? but wait maybe he can do something about it too with the recipes he learn from kamabaka kingdom :heh:

wait, the "Charlotte" house as in the family name of Big Mom herself (her name is Charlotte Linlin IIRC)???

so Big Mom wants Sanji to marry one of her daughters/nieces/relatives??? wow :heh:

Interesting developments we've got here. I'm curious about this Vinsmoke family. And damn, Big Mom really gets around, doesn't she :)?

I'm glad Capone put down Pekoms. Pirates don't compromise in order to get what they want.

And Sanji is finally getting development.Cool.

Have we heard of this family before? Guess when we get back to Sanji will learn about his family. LOL Of all things to be wanted for, for his sake I hope she's georgous since he's being forced into it but knowing it's Sanji here well :heh:

It would be a big twist if the bride is actually very beautiful but if she is as big as Big Mom then this arc would be awesome
Imagine an arc where they are going to save Sanji as "prince in birdcage" :heh:

quite disappointed in Mink race though... Their saviors are in big trouble here

So this all but confirms Sanjis full name then? He is Sanji Vinsmoke!!?

I wonder if everyone in Sanji's family smokes cigarets? Or perhaps they all just smoke in general (cigars and whatnot). It woulda kinda make sense with the family name Vin"smoke" :heh:

Could lead to finally getting a PSA about how smoking is bad for you, since Oda hasn't had anything of the sort since Sanji was introduced and it's been a touchy subject over the last few decades. Not that I care, but I could see it happening in the form of Sanji's father dying of lung cancer or something.

Sanji's name being Vinsmoke is indeed fitting for him. "Vin" means "Wine" in french, by the way.

Him being from a prestigious family was obvious, but I didn't see the whole arranged marriage angle coming. The year of Sanji is beginning!

Do you think Sanji's older siblings are Ichiji and Niiji?

He doesn't kick women, no matter their looks.

Wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.

With the way the story is going, I don't think Big Mom will be an enemy of the strawhats. I predict she'll be an ally in the future. She loves sweets, Sanji is a chef, and she's had at least 35 daughters. It's been theorized for a long time now that Lola from Thriller Bark is Big Mom's daughter since it was said that her mother is an amazing pirate in the New World. With the revelations in this chapter, the probability of that being true just increased. Charlotte would feel indebted to the strawhats for saving her daughter from Moria's clutches.

Called Sanji having an arranged marriage :D

It looks like we are on the same page. From quite some time I think Lola is BigMom's daughter and now I'm even more convinced that it's true :cool:

Damn, Capone was so awesome this chapter. Really glad to see him get some time to shine! :D Also, I assume that Veto (that guy with the tattoo and chameleon tongue) is Capone's first mate or second-in-command. Either way, it's nice to see more people from the supernovas' crews who aren't just nameless faces.



Also, I wonder if Purin/Pudding is that girl with the three eyes we saw when Big Mama was first introduced....




And not to mention that Pekoms is already indebted to the Straw-Hats for helping his people. So if we add that to the potential of Lola being one of Big Mama's offspring, then that even further amplifies the chances of the empress becoming a friend, rather than a foe....
