I wonder what will they adapt. Maybe a video game like the Broken Angel? I mean, I don't think they will adapt the entire manga due to its length (unless this is a bigger project like Digimon Tri)

Maybe they'll adapt the first story arc, the fake priest thing, but spend some time into the Elric brother's backstory and how Edward become a state alchemist.

WHAT?! Did they used Asian actor for Elric? That's yellow ashing! They should kill their self!

Jokes aside it looks really good.

You know, it's kind of funny, an anime adaptation where they legit could have used a white guy as the lead and they went with an Asian actor.

Probably because it's Asian production in first place?

Eh, I just saw Warner Bros, close enough. But point still stands that its one of the few adaptations where a white guy could have be cast as a legit option.

How many white actors can speak fluent Japanese?

Why the world couldn't go obvious?

Japanese adaptations rarely cast anyone other than Japanese for their roles, and it's not like there aren't anime where some of the characters, if not nearly all of them (*cough*Attack on Titan*cough*) are non-Asian. Japanese audiences just aren't stupid enough to give a crap about any of that.
