O.D.B is dead

Another of our Famous Musicians has passed away, may he rest in peace.

"NEW YORK - The rap artist O.D.B., whose demented rhymes, wild lifestyle and incessant legal troubles made him one of the most vivid characters in hip-hop, collapsed and died inside a recording studio Saturday. He was 35.

O.D.B. had complained of chest pains before collapsing at the Manhattan studio, said Gabe Tesoriero, a spokesman for Roc-a-Fella records. He was dead by the time paramedics reached him, Tesoriero said.

The cause of death was not immediately clear, but O.D.B. had recently finished a prison sentence for drug possession and escaping a rehab clinic. He would have turned 36 on Monday. "

If only that would happen to Eminem.

Ah well, there are good rappers in the world. Most of them were back in the 80s, but yeah.

Eminem is actually one of the best modern rappers. Sinse he made his Mosh video I have been respecting his views a bit more.

Mc Hammer was the best of all though :heh: .

ODB may not have been a great lyricist... but he was damn good with Wu-Tang.. his album Return to the 36 Chambers was solid imo... and ODB did his thing with the rap game... his current work may not have been dope... but at least he was still kickin rhymes...

Rest in Peace ODB...

Eminem is skilled... but... since he's filthy rich now... he doesn't need to rap with quality anymore... right now.... it doesn't even matter if his tracks suck (which they do right now) since he's already made enough money...and about that Mosh video... imo... Eminem just jumped on the "Let's hate Bush" bandwagon... Eminem raps about how he is insane and how he hates Kim... hearing him rap political was kinda wierd... political rap is best left to those that can do it well... for example... Immortal Technique and Jeru the Damaja...

Rest in peace you ol' dirty bastard, rest in peace, was a great rapper, my brother is obsessed with him

As for eminem, i also think he's a great rapper, expecially his 2nd album, but after that, he went downhill, so much anger in his rapping.

Edit: Quoted someone on accident. I'm bad at forums.

ODB was amazing. His unique delivery inspired so many of today's good hip-hop heads.

RIP.
