I want a game that can be played by two people on the same comp Like heroes of might and magic or Monopoly (it's actually more fun than it looks in a way).

I used to play Civilization in such situations.

You should just use an emulator (psx or n64 or whatever), video games generally have more\better multiplayer (offline) games.
Examples:
-Conker's bad fur day (N64)
-Gauntlet legends (PS, DC, N64)
-Rampage (PS, N64)

Try this site for it, since it's already linked to AS in a way.

Any of the 2D Worms games are great for hotseat gameplay. Civiliization 4 and Warlords 4 are great if you like turn based strategies. And if you have an ample setup, the Serious Sam series support split screen multiplayer. Can't think of anymore sadly :(

Legend of Mana (PS1). Seriously, all games in the Mana series is good for multiplayer.

Thanx, didn't like civ 4 much though.
