Does this mean we're going to get another Season of Haruhi? (hopefully with higher budget animation than the last one...)
Also. Someone NEEDS to find a high quality raw of that long image of all the rerelease Haruhi novels. The one featuring all the characters. I'm so annoyed that I haven't found a bigger version of that. |

I managed to buy a limited edition Haruhi (in Kinokuniya, US, LA).... I'm hiding it first until I can find a place to take a good picture of it.

Link has an extra g at the end.
Also... was Mikuru decapitated there? |

(why couldn't Itsuki get HIS head chopped off?) And it seems Sasaki and her delicious knee high boots aren't here...oh well. I guess I'll have to wait for someone to scan the cover in question. edit: The student council president is really tall. |
Haruhi is missing her feet, too. :(

Oricon is reporting that Surprise's limited first press edition set a new record for "bunko" books sold in one week. It sold around 341,000 copies last week. Final numbers will be released very soon.

Amazon Japan just released their top selling books for the first half of 2011. As expected, the top selling book in all of books was The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya (First Press Edition). #2 was Moshidora and #5 was the sixth volume of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai. A couple later volumes of the Bakemonogatari series ranked and the 19th ranked book was the eighth volume of OreImo. But above all the rest lies Haruhi. God's in her heaven; All's right with the world.

More like God's in her club room. ^_^

But being serious, I'm glad Haruhi is on top once again. And now, Kyon must not run away. :heh: OK, I just had to type that. |
Several more accuse Nagato of being a better version of Rei.
I'm happy with Yuki regardless. |

Most of the Rei clones fail because they have nowhere near the level of detail and development that Rei had, as well as purpose. For that I love both characters, and am glad Yuki can stand up on her own as a character. |
Oricon is reporting that Surprise's first press edition sold 47,311 copies this week to bring its two week sales to 388,495.
I'm somewhat disappointed, but that's still incredibly good for any light novel volume's second week. I'm curious if the online retailers have stored their copies and the normal bookstores can't get any more in until the regular edition. |
I would expect that the lower sales this week stem in part from some places being sold out--they may only have sold about 75% of all printed copies, but a good fraction of that remaining 25% is likely being hoarded by online retailers and the like as Ultimate has said.
