Bitorrent 3.3 added a toolbar, now everything crashes
 

I just installed bitorrent 3.3, and it installed some kind of search bar.

This bar pops up every few minutes in my windows. That's not the problem.

Problem is, now after this installation, all my apps like eudora,mirc and so on freeze during the loading stage. They stop loading after the splash screen.

I pressed crtl-alt-del, and saw some unusual tasks running. One of them is called apropos. Ending this task caused all my programs to complete loadiing.


This apropos is not in my startup group, so how can I remove it?

Can you remove it in add/remove programmes?

Or just install shadow's/ABC and it will overwrite the file associations right away

Did you download download 3.3 from an ad on a certain web site full of things to download whose name starts with an S? If so, it's spy-ware ridden and should be deleted immediately. Install Ad-aware and/or Spybot-S&D and clean out that crap.

Then get the client from here.

Disclaimer: I don't use Windows and have never seen this client in action, but would recommend anyone install Ad-aware and Spybot-SD anyway.
