issue with corrupt tracker.config file
My PC is being annoying. Anyway, I have Azureus and up until very recently its been perfect. But lately I've had a popup saying I have a corrupt tracker.config file for azureus. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no help. I've had to switch back to ABC.. and I just can't have that :p
Anyone have any helpful suggestions so that I can repair this issue of mine? |
Have you tried doing a clean install of it? Uninstall Azureus and then remove any reamining folders or files lying around after the uninstall. The only thing you probably have to delete is the tracker.config file so that when you install azureus again it'll install a new one.
You can also consider uTorrent a lightweight torrent program that dosn't use java just like azureus so it uses less resources. I used to use azureus untill I found uTorrent and I dont regret making that change. |
On my Linux installation of Azureus, the tracker.config file is stored at the top of the directory structure that includes the actual torrent files. I'm guessing it's somewhere in your personal "Documents and Settings" folder.
Why don't you ask that cute puppy in the Search sidebar to go find it for you? |
thanks for the suggestions I will try them
