Seeding Questions

i am a newbie and was wondering how you can seed torrents, i would like to help seed if possilbe sometimes. i am well aware of how annoying it is not to be able to finish your download becuase of no seeds available. like when you want to start downloading a new series that has been out for a while. any help would be nice and appreciated.

how to seed

hey i was wondering how to seed torrents so that i can help sometimes. i hate not having a seed, like when you download a new series for yourself and that series may have been out for a while and doesn't have seeds for the first eps. any help would be appreciated and yes i am a newbie to computers but not downloading anime, have downloaded about 200+ gigs.

Simple start the torrent (by clicking on the same link or running the same file) again. The client will check your file and seed it if your file is complete.

the file name has to match the file you are trying to seed online and the name has to be the same too....I think.

Start BitTorrent as though you wanted to download the file yourself. When it asks where to save it, choose the original file. It won't overwrite it - it will check the contents and when it's satisfied that it's good, it will begin seeding.

Multi-file torrents are a little more complicated. For example, if you wanted to seed something that makes a directory named "Naruto" say, and your stuff is saved to C:\Downloads\BitTorrent\Naruto, then specify the save path as C:\Downloads\BitTorrnet without Naruto at the end.

I that that about covers it.
