I've liked and been listening to The Offspring for a long time now. I think I first started listening to them in '94. :heh: Anyways, my favorite song by them was not on the poll list. My favorite song is Come Out and Play.

Well, I voted The Kids Aren't Alright even though it was a close match with Pretty Fly for a White Guy (obviously, right?). I guess I chose it because it's not really a fun jokesong that just happens to be catchy. :heh:

As for actually discussing the band, I really only started listening to them a couple of years ago because I heard from a friend that they were similar to some of the older punk bands (The Clash, Ramones, Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols, etc.) They really weren't alike at all, but I still thought some of their songs were catchy, and it went from there.
Back when I was an avid drummer, I learned a couple of their songs too, but I'm pretty sure I've forgotten all of them.

All right.

I... liked their sense of humor? Not the best musicians but a lot of fun.

They got some good tracks in their albums but my fav by far is the first track i heared from them 'Damnit i Changed Again'. 'The Kids aren't alight' is also one of my favs.

I absolutely love this band to bits, and mt fave song of theirs listed is Want You Bad :)

Followed closely second by Hit That :)

What? No "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" on the polls? It was that song that made like the band in the first place. Shame on you for not putting it on the polls. :(

dont know what everyone sees in pretty fly for a white guy...

Maybe it's because it's one of their first songs to be know well which made the band famous abroad and a popular song internationally. Sure they do have other great songs but nothing beats a song about mocking a wannabe idiot trying to be a gangsta.:D

Self Esteem is pretty cool, that would be my third favourite :)
