How many eps are there. From ANN, 32 but "Originally planned as a 39 episode TV series (3 seasons), the show was cancelled prematurely". From AniDB, 34 but it seems that 3 of them are "DVD only" releases. Wiki lists it as 32 as well.

Air dates are from Monday 30th June 1980 to Sunday 25th Jan 1981 but then that's only 31 weeks, so it doesn't tie in at all well.

AniDB is correct. There's a total of 34 episodes in existence. Three of which never aired due to the cancellation (31, 33 and 34). There's a The End at the end of episode 32 though so it's arguable one way or the other. I think it's simpler to just say 34.

Episode titles for episodes 1-39 are up on the Japanese Wikipedia but the episodes after 34 were never produced.
