So far how is everyone feeling for the 30th anniversary show? i find that it has potential but i want to know if its going to be animated =/

4Tran 2009-02-24 01:14

It's almost unthinkable for this project to not be animated, so I'm going to assume that it is for the time being.

*Puffs bubble pipe*

Should be interesting. Long as we some some new designs.

mechabao 2009-02-24 03:28

I hope this new show stays true to the other UC series and keeps the overpowered, invincible beamspamming Gundams of Doom out. I am also happy to know that the lead pilot is 32 years old. Should greatly reduce the level of emo present.

RAVNEN 2009-02-24 03:34

Owh...thank god,a new UC title.Wow the character look awesome, especially the ehem..Zeon one. That Gundam sure look great,i guess it has some Gundam Alex feel on it.I wonder if there gonna be an MG for it.:D

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-02-24 03:42

I'll bet that "top secret" plan is what 0083 turns out to be.

Dan the Man 2009-02-24 04:12

Sounds interesting. While I still think the One Year War period is rather overused, This new series should be really cool. At least, I hope it will be.

Yeah...wouldn't want the Gundam franchise to ever have anything but first-gen calibre mobile suits for the rest of it's history. Down with variety.

Personally I'm more concerned with other more important things about what to expect from this series and considering that beam weapons weren't exactly widespread around this period I wouldn't go expecting much more then what the Big Zam had going for it at maximum level of beam intensity. Anyway, it's going to be a tight fit between the OYW and the Operation Stardust incident, but it could prove very interesting. At least it's post OYW and not another OYW OVA though.

That's why I suspect the secret plan to revive Zeon is what turns out to be 0083.

But that's a little to predictable no?

Sir Dearka 2009-02-24 05:13

Yeah... I guess most of the surprises await us on the course of the main character's adventures as individuals rather than the significance of their deeds to history :]

Raikujin 2009-02-24 05:33

I heard about this from ANN, so it is true then. Was expecting it to be set in post-CCA time though.

patnam 2009-02-24 05:35

maybe there will be no Amuro and Char...

Raven Revolution 2009-02-24 05:40

There's enough of them already

Raikujin 2009-02-24 05:45

Possible cameo appearances? :D

I'd have nothing against a 5-minute cameo of Amuro appearing and owning everyone in his Katoki-buffed RX-78-2 :)

That would be awesome, and would fill the void between Gundam 0079 and Zeta.

Shiroth 2009-02-24 06:23

I hope this doesn't have cameo's, i mean it's been shown before that they're not needed. But then again it is 30th anniversary, so i wouldn't be surprised if they sneak someone in.

no , I dont want any more nightmare like Kira Yamato >_>
However , 5-minutes cameo of speaking or something like that ( or even flashback ) is good enough , since if Char and Amuro show off their skills in battle then I m sure there will be ton of stupid arguements about their skills compare to the new series's pilots .
