Old torrents very slow to download
So I downloaded a batch torrent for ef a tale of memories here,

I dont really like downloading batch torrents. So I download it one by one. It takes SO long downloading just ONE file of the batch torrent.. Like 2 days or something! Unlike when I download episodes of current shows, just takes 1 hour.
This problem always happens when I download batch torrents and old series torrents.

Would be nice if there is an individual torrent for ef a tale of memories.. and a fast one. Can you even sort out the files on a batch torrent so it would be an individual torrent each file?

Oh shit. tl;dr derp

It's also a batch but should be fast. Have fun.

But that link is also the same with the one Im downloading. XD

That is not true.

Same material, different torrents (different torrent hash)

kairuishimaru 2010-02-04 03:47

So they're different? Okay then..

This is much better I guess. One episode requires 2 hours. Not like the other torrent I downloaded which one file is 5 hours! (But I hope ALL episodes are 2 hours. Since the ep that I downloaded is different with the ep from the old torrent which requires 5 hours)

Is there alot of seeders? if not then this will cause slow downloads or if there is more leechers then seeders

Usenet costs money. If we had money to begin with, we would buy our anime, not download it.

Anyway .. There isn't really a problem here. The torrent is old, so obviously there are less seeders than in new ones so obviously it's slower. You should use bakabt for downloading though. They keep all their torrents alive, and since your downloads can get disabled if you don't take care of your ratio, all the torrents there will have seeders. Of course, you're going to have to upload too but that shouldn't be a problem since surely you know torrents are give and take.

Edit : The real question is that why mfalaura bumped a 3 months old thread ...

If you looked at the signature you'd know that the user in question is most likely a spam bot who leaves spam in their signatures (which I have already reported) plus the domain was only registered 4 months ago (which is another sign of a suspected spammer).

Well I did suspect that, but I found it weird that it -kinda- fit to the thread. Usually when it's spam .. Well, the posts are in just random threads ..
