I've only played the first one and the first mission of the second one but i got bored at that point. I prefer action shooters like half life 2 and bio shock the only exception for stealth games...

i don't think that you could make a movie about WoW it just doesn't sit because WoW is about your character not anybody else and most game to film adaptations are pretty crap just look at Doom that...
