I didn't see Zero no Tsukaima on your list and that fits your crieria for Action, Romance, Confident male protagonist and Fantasy. Im not sure if you will like it but its worth watching IMO

i have watched the first 2 episodes of Nazo no Kanojo X, but i thought it was a bit weird and got sidetracked by a different series, i guess ill have to get back and give it another try then :)

i've been having trouble finding some new good romance anime (by new i mean new to me) that have good romance development, i dont really enjoy the older anime as much seeing i have trouble...
